Our immediate job of laundry room remodel was quickly quoted and scheduled. Tim talked through the options and was very supportive of giving recommendations. Knowing our subfloor had leveling issues and was creaky we decided best was to go for full tile floors instead of keeping laminate / vinyl. We had subfloor work, new porcelain tile, beadboard accent wall, and new thresholds by R&R 360. We were given the freedom to choose our floor tiles locally. By the time we found it, the carpets were under water and the baseboards were covered in mold. The team from 1-800 were there called at 4PM on Friday afternoon and were in the house on Saturday morning to contain the damage. They took total control. Folks, this is a highly professional team like few service providers I have used over the years. No lame TV commercials. No gimmicks. Just professionals in their field. Project leader Lawrence was super experienced and informative and kept in constant contact with us. This gentleman was accessible at all hours and often over the 4-week process came in on a weekend to check the progress of the project. You would think it was his own company. The mold mitigation expert, Keith, was clearly an expert and was no less informative and in charge of his area. Even the cleaning staff were professional, efficient, knowledgeable and courteous. 1-800 worked with some partner companies including Total Loss Services who boxed and removed property for cleaning and storage Moldquest, the testing company snd Amistee who cleaned the HVAC ducts to remove mold spores. These companies were in the same professional league as 1-800, highly knowledgeable and on top of their part of the work. The demolition, cleanup and mold removal took about 5-weeks and we were pronounced clean and ready for rebuild. Most of the cost was picked up by insurance. All in all, our experience with 1-800- Water Damage was top notch. So much could have gone wrong, but 1-800 Water Damage team made sure that our experience was the best it could be.

I had quite a few worries after seeing what I thought was maybe mold or even evidence of a past flood in the new home I bought, along with some other things. I have two little toddlers and not only did the possible mold worry me, but so did the chemicals until I learned more through him and research. I sent a very in depth email to Keith where he asked for a phone call with me, and did his due diligence to find out how to best help me. Without causing anxiety and panic like some mold and water damage companies can, he offered to come see my home in person at no cost to me. And was flexible about it. After looking at a lab report from my previous home inspection and seeing everything in person, he assured me there were basically no worries to be had while being totally understanding. I told him I had a new mold air testing the next day or so scheduled with a testing company, and he even checked on me afterwards to hear if the results were good, just like he had thought they would be. I didn't even need any work done yet he was there every step of the way.
