AFTER buying Groupon's couple special and making the appointment, I read the yelp reviews, and my…read moreheart sank. There were too many negative comments posted. Friday night at 6:30 we went to the spa, kind of dejected and expecting disappointment. Well...WE COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE WRONG! Upon arrival, we were pleasantly greeted and directed to have a seat in a very comfortable waiting area. Within minutes we were taken to the massage room. The door opened into a clean and inviting area, where soft piano music and wonderful warmth filled the room. When we were ready, two ladies came in, and without any words just started working on us. As strong, yet gentle massaging began on my back, I began to relax. There was no chit-chatting going on between the women. They were completely focused on us. The only sound in the room was the peaceful music. Eventually some warm oil massage was done, and I think I felt a hot stone gliding up and down my back, which felt amazing! Hot towels were a nice surprise, too. In addition to massage, gentle stretching was directed to my back, arms and legs. I am 62, overweight, and out-of-shape, and yet I felt at ease as muscles I probably never use were being twisted and pulled and rubbed. I honestly felt like I was being worked on by a machine. I didn't feel hands or elbows pushing at me...everything felt like a smooth, warm roller gliding over my skin. The masseuse did not neglect my ankles or feet, and it all finally ended with a bit of attention and pressure to my forehead. We had been treated to a solid hour of heaven, peace, and comfort, and we were so completely relaxed. How relaxed? We could barely get ourselves dressed and I refused to even attempt to get my bra back on. We felt wonderful - like stoned noodles leaving the room. Anna and Paule had been our masseuses, and both my husband and I were beyond satisfied with their attentive massages. For the rest of the evening both of us were just useless haha. And here is the best testimonial Sea Spa will probably ever get: After arriving home, I found my big bull of a husband crashed out on the sofa.....on a Friday night.....watching..... a Hallmark channel Christmas movie! As for me, I will have to return to Sea Spa to retrieve my forgotten bra. Bottom line: This was a wonderful experience that we will definitely treat ourselves to again. :)

A woman came out and I asked if I could wait until 4; after saying I made an appointment for 3:20, then 3:40 but was told both times she was wrong. She then placed me in a room and shut the door. I waited and no one ever showed up. As I was leaving the woman said "she didn't come? So sorry." Something really off about this place - I do not recommend.

Anyway, I went to Dr Bhutti for a chronic sinus infection and after two weeks of fever and respiratory problems that did not want to go away. She was strongly recommended to me by three friends, after I had started panicking since I was getting worst and worst. In 48 hrs I was back on my feet, fever finally gone, and after few days my nose was totally clean. I do not know the connection but in few days also my skin looked much better: tight and bright and I eat much less than before since I have no more craving. I am steadily losing weigh; although I did not mention my craving/weight problem to Dr. Bhutti at all. I think there is a re-balance in my total health. So, yes I strongly suggest Dr. Bhutti to anyone wants to improve its health. She has been studying, teaching and practicing Tibetan Medicine since 1960 and she worked for the Dalai Lama for many years. Finally, her prices are more than honest and fair. Ciao.

I experienced instant relief from my nausea. Now I understand why people swear by acupuncture. I highly recommend this place to expectant mothers for help with morning sickness, fatigue, etc. This wellness center has been a lifesaver and healing oasis. I always though acupuncture was more of an out of pocket "self pay" treatment--so I was surprised and thrilled to learn they accept my insurance (they accept all insurances actually). Either way, I noticed they offer all kinds of treatment packages to make the visits affordable to all. Actually, acupuncture is just one of the many modalities they offer--I have a consultation with "Eugenia" their Chinese herbal medicine practitioner next week! But I'm going to try my darnedest, cause I'm writing a review and words are, how do you say... Very important. Late last year I threw out my back at work, followed by my first ever tension headache (HOWCANPEOPLEGETTHOSEREGULARLY?) I did my regular "help I've screwed my back up AGAIN!" call to my chiropractor, who was able to reset things, but unable to relieve me of all pain. My dad emailed the lady he knows who massages. I was a bit hesitant because my dad has seen some pretty strange people in the past, I'm glad I was in such pain that I agreed to pick up whatever appointment Emily had available. It was one of the best decisions I made in 2010. I hobbled in to see her on a Saturday afternoon, I was surprised to find that she was not much older than I, very professional, and when we went over the little intake form her questions and comments were not only valid, but she seemed to take an actual genuine interest in how my (very physically demanding) job affected my general health. I have, in the past been underwhelmed with massage experiences because I feel like they worked too lightly on me- Emily was able to get in and really work the knots outta my muscles without it being uncomfortable. A good balance of strength and knowledge! She's now become the go-to for my dad, mum and I. I have finally been able to recommend somebody who is affordable, easy to contact and schedule with, and nice. She also let me know about a great deal this December where you could buy 4 gift certificates for a discounted rate and get a free massage for yourself - I was able to make my mum, aunt, and a couple friends happy to receive the gift of relaxation, while shopping local and getting a little something for myself!

And honestly, you don't even notice it - the treatment was super relaxing. After the treatment, Sharon suggested that I try out cupping because she thought that would be helpful for my condition. Boy was it helpful! Now I understand why Michael Phelps raves about it! I've seen her a few times now and, every time, I feel so relaxed and the relief lasts for weeks at a time! I'm sure with more treatments, it'll get even better. Sharon also gave me tips for stretches and exercises I can try as well to develop better habits and work towards more permanent relief. She really cares about her patients. I recommend Sharon without reservation!

I think she has a good heart. But I don't think she should be working right now. She needs to choose between her job as a healer and her job as a nurturer for her child. Her communication timetable is not reliable, which was evident in that it sometimes took her quite a bit to get back to me. This hit particularly deeply when, in the middle of herbal treatment (during the pandemic, no less), I gave her an update and asked a few questions and then didn't hear back from her for over a month. It wasn't that my email was missed, or that it went to a spam box. She just left it. To her credit, she apologized about this, but being as I had explained to her my experience with other doctors and healers not listening to me, I was so disappointed that I just give up on her entirely. It was the final nail in the coffin that has made working with her feel completely unreliable. Who would want to work with someone to heal who you have shaky confidence will actually be there for you? It's, perhaps, a case of "taking on more than you can chew." I hope one day Marilyn is able to figure out how to strike this balance so that it is easier for her future patients to have faith in her.
