I wasn't told in advance I would need a copy of my homeowners policy certificate or I'd have to pay $11 per month. Ashley put her card in front of me and told me to call my agent right then in order to continue with the rental. 15 minutes into the situation I was told I had rented an interior space and if I wanted drive up it would be another $20/month. None of this was on the reservation email I received. She kept blaming it on the 3rd party that the company "just started using" however she was quick to argue each issue and never once apologized for the misunderstanding or inconvenience. Needless to say I left!!

We used PODs to move from California to Delaware this summer. The delivery and pick up went fine…read more The problem was when we filed a $400 claim for damage to a trailer. We received such a run a round from the claims department. I think they were just using a stall tactic hoping we would get frustrated and stop trying to get reimbursed. We spent $35,000 on the move and were offered a $200 settlement. We also purchased additional $140,000 insurance to cover our contents and any damage. We had repeated calls to the claim dept who never seemed to receive the multiple emails and pictures of the damage. Finally when we had the adjuster on the phone who still said he had no pictures and we pointed out that the pictures were in the file he was referencing did he agree he finally had it. Way too much trouble try another moving company. PODs, insurance dept you should be ashamed of the extremely poor customer service. I hope you see this and respond

How in the h3ll are you supposed to load and unload if you don't back up to an outside unit?? And I had already told her that it was empty so what was the point of telling me that now??? I told her that in all the time I had been there no one had ever said a word about it. "It was in the contract you signed" as she made a signing motion with her hand. You know. In case I was too thick to understand what she was saying I guess she thought you'd throw in a hand gesture. I've got a hand gesture of my own for her. NASTY PIECE OF WORK. Don't deal with it. Go somewhere else.

I was so happy to find The Storage Center, their prices were good and the ladies in the office were so very helpful. They even had packing supplies, as I had to get a few boxes to repack some of my items where boxes had been chewed on. I like the fact that it is secure, you have to enter a code to get in and everything was clean. I would definitely recommend this place.

The lady I spoke to in the office was understanding, helpful and friendly. They understood the urgency and had the cube delivered the same day. The driver was professional and was very careful setting the cube on our property. I had no issues while storing my stuff in the cube except a small issue with the door (to be fair i had the cube for a year). but the office sent someone out right away to fix the problem. the cube was a convenient way to store my stuff and have it close by. So when my husband needed to clean out his shed to rebuild it we called cubes to go again. I would highly recommend them to my friends and family.

DO NO USE THIS COMPANY…read more There cubes do not seal properly around doors and they will be almost garunteed to get infested with mice and ruin anything fabric paper cardboard inside. Furniture clothes etc. We rented a cube from them from November to March while our home was being built and it was infested with mice and destroyed half the contents. I called the company asking for them to cover the damages or at the very least extend a credit back for the payments we had made, as we had beds couches clothes ruined. The woman who runs the office at this location I think may be a relation to Satan himself. One of the rudest nastiest people I have ever encountered in a customer service position. She very bluntly said they aren't paying for shit and we needed to advise them of exact damage to cube before the event occurred. Of course the cube by all appearances looks sealed and fine but once we got mice scurrying while emptying the pod they ran right through the door slides where there is a finger sized gap. This gap is present on all of there pods so heads up it will get infested. Also they offered no credit refund of any kind stating that they don't cover any damages inside units even if it is due to there pods being faulty. Since we didn't tell them how to fix there pods soon enough.. If you want to meet a relation of Satan just swing on in to fruitland to there location and have a chat with her before you decide to go with this company.
