This place used to be amazing. The new owners have absolutely no respect for their employees and treated them so poorly that every single one of them walked out. He's cheap and installed a new grill on his own causing a gas line explosion and putting all of their safety at risk, and didn't care at all! He also refused to purchase new cleaning supplies, forcing them to clean the bar with unsanitary towels. It's quite the uncomfortable atmosphere at this point and I do not support this kind of business. read more

This place is going downhill fast. Why on earth would you get rid of karaoke, trivia and bingo?! James is a fantastic host and brings in a lot of business. These new owners need to figure their shit out. You can't run out your good staff, security, and dj and expect to keep your business going. Especially when you're constantly behind the bar drinking all of the product. This place is just gross. read more

The water hole is a great local, down home bar. Everyone is welcome with open arms, delicious food and great drinks. Mindy and Mina are top notch in customer service. The Karaoke is great too. No one is afraid to sing and everyone supports the singers with applause. Don't believe the bad reviews about changing Karaoke. Times change and so do tastes. I went to the waterhole for the first time in a long time about a month ago on a Saturday night. I didn't get a chance to talk with the new owner. I noticed a different guy hosting the karaoke. I was used to seeing Larry. The new Karoake.guy seemed OK at first and then he got really rude with a group of elderly folks sitting at a table who have been regulars for years, keeping this place open. I asked one of the gals why he was mistreating them? The gal simply asked if he forgot her in the rotation. He proceeded to blast them saying they were telling him how to run things and.how to do his job. The owner didn't get on his host about this bully behavior and let him carry on with his show. Total disrespect for the customers. I am apalled and will not be back. ​ read more

Sad to write a review like this but the family that owns the bar are completely disrespectful. After putting our karaoke songs in we realized we were bumped by the owners crew and never got to sing our songs after 60mins. Sad since it's a small town venue. Too bad they didn't serve us better.... I would have gone back more often. read more
