The technicians were personable and went out of their way to fix all the concerns I had in my home. I was very happy with their technical service. On the other hand, I had a true problem with their office staff, particularly a woman by the name of Karma I believe (ironic I know). She was rude and demining. She made sure to criticize me if I did not pick up her calls immediately and gave no indication that she appreciated my business. You are on her timetable, so you better pick up, or else. I was picking up my kids from school when I missed her call. When I called back, she and cancelled my service time and sent the technician to another home. I was upset. I had just talked to her that very morning and told her I would be home during my visit window of 2pm to 4pm. When my husband called to see what was going on, another office staff member, Kelly I believe, was very helpful, explained the situation, took notes on our availability, and apologized. AWESOME, exactly how customer service should be. Unfortunately, I did have to deal with Karma one more time which was another negative experience. Because of this one person I would NOT recommend Thrifty Rooters. Customers deserve to be treated with respect and appreciation.

The office person insisted that the guy pumping would have to get inside the tank. I told her he better bring a two year old or a camera on a pole. The professionalism and knowledge of the staff astounded me. They checked everything that needed to be checked and gave me much useful information for the future. Nothing needed to be repaired or replaced with my system but they did not give me the run around to try to milk any extra money out of me. All I saw was honesty. Just had a great experience with a business and want to share…read more We had the misfortune of having our leach line fail. This happened on a Sat. Of course we didn't know it was our leach line at the time. Ended up calling John's Rooter mid morning. He said he couldn't be here until around 5 P.M. We were just glad he could come that day. He got here when he said and told us he thought it was our leach line and not our septic. These are not words you want to hear. I mean, we are thinking $30,000 at a minimum and he agrees that is about where a NEW leach line starts, but he thinks he can clean it. I've never heard of that, but if he can we'll save around $20,000. And that is just what he did. He got a pumper here on SUN. yes SUN. to pump our septic. He was ready to go to work and it took him just 3 days to finish digging out what he needed and install 3 clean out ports and clean our lines. So just a heads up! Most companies won't tell you the line can be cleaned. It doesn't make them as much $$$$. Our man said that in all the many years he's been in business, he's only had 2 that couldn't be cleaned. It's still expensive, but not near what we thought we were looking at. If you need help, CALL JOHN!!! He's only 7 miles from Sutter. John & his son Jr. are wonderful to work with. They explained everything and showed us exactly what they were doing.

I hired them to change the AC at my house. Craig dropped off two interns and left for the day. They…read morerushed the job in every possible way. Left debris all over the place, threw away their trash in dark places of the attic. They installed one of the copper pipes in the middle of the way ... so if you're walking through you have to bend over. I had them fix that and other things. The job was done to leave the house as soon as possible. Not to do it right. After the installation the outside unit was making noise. I reached out to Craig. To this day I have not heard back from him. Do not hire these people. They will leave your house worse than they find it, and once you make full payment you're on your own. Shame on you, Craig. Your crew is a joke. How can you still be in business?
