The woman at the front desk was friendly and directed me to the shop area in back. I explained what I needed to the first guy I saw and made a joking comment that I needed to "make my tractor great again." His response was, "Well, I won't help you then," and he walked away. At first I thought he was joking. I didn't know anyone there and was simply making small talk. When I walked around the corner, he was gone. I then walked over to the counter in the back, where two employees were standing behind it talking. There were no other customers waiting. I stood there for about five minutes before finally holding up the hose and asking if one of them could help me. One of them finally said, "I'll do it," and took care of the hose. He was professional and got the job done, but he wasn't friendly either. To be fair, this was my second visit. The first time I was there, everyone was much friendlier. It's possible the first guy thought I was trying to make some kind of political statement or insult, but if so, he completely misread the situation. I don't know whether that was the owner or just an employee, but from a customer's perspective it looked like someone refused to help me over a harmless joke. Regardless of politics, that's not how you treat customers. I got the hose I needed, but I won't be back.

I came in just a few days ago and was greeted by a younger kid who was at the front register. He was with a customer but still greeted us properly and gave a smile which is a plus. Once I reached the firearm counter, I was ignored until I sat by their front desk for an employee who seemed like he didn't want to do anything except sit around to call another one to help. I'm extremely disappointed with their firearm staff. I work at another FFL and had to run in for some last minute ammo that I had forgotten to purchase for a range day. My address on my ID does not match my current address, which is fine with DROS. You can type in the address to put in the correct one to get approved. These guys will not work with anything unless you bring them a proof of residency for ammo which is ridiculous. As a COE holder and FSC instructor, there was absolutely no courtesy shown for what was happening. I constantly hear issues with how arrogant and rude the staff is that works there and it's sad to say that I can confirm that everything I have heard is true. I'll make sure to avoid this place and take the extra 5 minutes to drive to Sportsman's (which is already a nightmare itself) for any last minute ammo purchases. They did a great job at a fair price, and I was happy at the time to add the $99 additional charge for their one-year maintenance agreement. That small charge entitles you to preferred pricing, as well as an annual hot water heater flush, and general waterline inspection. I had actually forgotten about it, but then I received a call from them a few days ago saying I should schedule the water heater flush and line inspection, which was included with the maintenance ageement I had already paid for. Right on schedule, Jonathan showed up today to do the annual flush and inspection. He was an exceptionally nice fellow, and he thoroughly explained everything he was doing. And, by renewing my maintenance agreement today while I was still covered under last year's agreement, I was purchasing a full three years of additional coverage for a total of $100, which I think is a terrific deal. Even if we only use EPP for the annual hot water heater flush and inspection, we are way ahead of the game. It can often be stressful dealing with contractors of all kinds who service your home, and so it's a relief to find an honest and fair contractor you know you can trust to do excellent work at a reasonable price. EPP is definitely an honest and fair plumbing contractor, and I have no problem recommending them.
