They did not do a good job at all or address all the issues we asked them to. I had to call the back out because they didn't even finish the job. They were calling me for payment and I was like you haven't even finished. The wood post they put in less then a year ago is bending already. read more

Upon contacting this company I got a response from the owner right away. I was requesting a gutter clean out and got an appointment within a couple days. The owner was very helpful and stayed in contact with me throughout the entire project. The gutter clean out was just completed and the two workers were very nice and thorough. I cannot say enough about the wonderful job Water-A-Way Guttering did on our home. I specifically asked for black gutters and downspouts; they didn't hesitate or question my choice! Their work was fast and efficient, taking just a few hours. Most importantly, my old, non-functioning gutters are now working exactly as designed. After the install, we had several days of heavy rain. Quite a lot of debris was still falling from our large trees, and it caused a small back-up in one corner. They came out immediately to check for problems, and cleaned the entire system at no charge. The new black gutters changed the appearance of our home, such an improvement (next, a paint job!!) I bought a deal for gutter & downspout cleaning from Amazon Local for $99. 150 linear feet, debris removal from roof & flushing downspouts, a $250 value. I had measured the linear feet of my guttering a year ago, as I was shopping for gutter covers. It measures around 125-130 feet. The worker tried to try me I had 180 feet, including the downspouts. OK. Who includes the downspouts in the measurement of your guttering? First he tried to sell me some gutter covering. That's fine. I expected that. But I want about to pay more money to get my gutters cleaned. Do we settled on him skipping over about 30 feet of guttering that I could relatively easily teach with a latter. Seriously? This is not a way to earn new customers. I will not be s repeat customer. read more

This company helped me in the extremely stressful process of getting my entire 4000 square foot home ready to sell. They painted the interior of my home from top to bottom in a professional timely manner. Next, I had to get a new roof and I had to have a certain designer shingle with pre approval from my strict homeowners association. They handled that with ease and began tearing off my old wood shingles and putting on the new very quickly. Everything was right on time! They installed all my new carpet quickly and finished my basement with a beautiful new tiled bath. I was so impressed with how honest the pricing was as I got numerous estimates with several other companies. I could not have gotten my home on the market so quickly without them. I had a terrible experience with water a way guttering. I had her crew fixing issues I had not asked to be fixed and replacing perfectly good parts with new ones. The issue I had originally called them about could not be fixed yet I was issued an expensive bill for work not requested. I asked to meet the owner, Tricia, in person to discuss and was told she didn't have time to meet me. She said "I have too many jobs, and can't meet with all of my customers". What a rip off! I had a great experience with Water A Way Guttering for gutter replacement for the front and back of my house. The crew came out and provided an estimate while taking the time to explain the process and answer any questions that I might have. Their price point was great so I hired them to do the job. The crew showed up on time and had the job completed in just over 2 hours. The crew cleaned up and hauled away all of the trash after the job was completed to the point that you could not tell by appearances that anyone had been working on the house. AVOID. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. I hired them to re-route a simple downspout and to put extensions on them. (I'm 70 years old and don't do 2 story). Tricia (owner) came out within an hour of my call and quoted me $300. I thought it was high, but I was in a hurry to get it done and she said they could do it the following morning. They were out the next morning and I paid them and left for work before the job was done because I had to get to work and I thought since they were on Angie's List, they had to be good. Boy was I wrong. They unstrapped another gutter that ran next to the new downspout they installed and it is loose and the new extension they added was not even screwed in so it fell off and is laying on the ground. It is useless like this. In Addition, Tricia (owner) said to buy matching paint and they would touch up the area behind where they removed the old downspout. Despite the $48 gallon of paint, left in plain site, they painted the wall from which the downspout was removed with a can of spray paint (wicker color) that does not match the wall. After almost a week of call and texts and unkept promises, they haven't done a thing. Now I have to hire another gutter company to redo the job and they are asking $150 to complete the job. So, I'm out $450 for one downspout (the initial $300 + $150 to fix their faulty work). Withing the past 2 years, I have hired 6 different companies from Angies List, without any problems. This company should NOT be on Angies List. read more
