I paid over $100 for them to replace the posts and the first time I wore them, one pair broke. Within an hour, that $100 repair went down the drain with my faith in humans to do the right thing. It wasn't even a week from the time I picked up his shoddy work. When I tried to bring it back, not only did he give me attitude, but he wanted to charge me. He even said he remembered when I came in with my male friend when we spent hundreds of dollars. He said he was willing to throw in the labor but wanted me to buy a new earring back and post which was not even gold. And he wanted to charge me $50 for a metal, (NOT gold) post and earring back. How many earring backs have you lost in your life? It wasn't just his greed that annoyed me, it was his total and utter disrespect of me as a human. I find men like this treat women very differently when there's another man with me. I wouldn't trust these folks. Plus he obviously doesn't respect older women. Steer clear.

Instead of taking this seriously, they continue to deny it and act like they have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about. But here's the problem for them: I HAVE CLEAR PROOF. I have clear photos of my original necklace, and the differences are extremely obvious when you compare them side by side. The necklace I received back is visibly different from the one I brought in. So what am I supposed to believe? That my necklace somehow magically changed while it was in their possession? I trusted them with REAL GOLD, and a valuable necklace that was a special present from family and now I am being given a completely different and inferior piece while they refuse to take responsibility or even properly investigate what happened. What makes this even worse is their attitude. After going back THREE TIMES, I still haven't received a reasonable explanation or any accountability. At this point, my lawyer is involved, and I am prepared to take this further, including contacting the police and pursuing this through the proper channels.
