Dr. Jesse Bauwens is an AMAZING Orthopedic Surgeon!! My Primary Doctor referred me to Dr. Jesse…read moreBauwens after I injured my knee on vacation. On my first office with visit Dr Jesse, he immediately put me at ease with personal engaging demeanor. He explained my options thoroughly and I felt confident he was perfect for me! In November 2022, Dr. Jesse performed a Mako Robotic assisted Total Knee Replacement. My surgery went fantastic. Later that same day, I was walking with a walker during PT. Dr. Jesse made sure my pain was managed during my recovery. My recovery went so well, I had my other knee replaced 3 1/2 months later! That recovery was even better. At 60 years old, I am pain free and loving my life!! I highly recommend Dr. Jesse Bauwens. I have already referred several friends to him after they saw my results!

Found out son had a cyst in his head that was altering the overall structure as well as…read moredisplacement of a major artery. Went to see Dr. Reichert as a second opinion due to his ratings. After waiting an hour past our appointment time, he spent approximately 5 minutes (NOT kidding) with us. He came in the room, said "any headaches" (to which my son responded "yes"), with Dr. Reichert's response of "I'm not doing surgery because you don't need it." Didn't bring up his MRI results or discuss them, didn't talk about any of his structural abnormalities, didn't ask "how are you," didn't listen to any concerns, didn't ask if we had questions, kept tapping on the exam table - slouched and leaning back in the office chair - completely unprofessional, cocky, disrespectful, NO bedside manners, treated us like we didn't know anything (I myself have a medical degree as an NP), didn't even assess my son(!), opened the door, and walked us out of the room. I would NEVER recommend this provider to absolutely anyone. I have no idea who would rate him so highly, but I really hope that you look to other providers to have an understanding of what one would be like if they had their patient as the focus of attention, during an office visit that I am paying for, related to a pretty significant issue.

Not what I expected. Exceeded my expectation…read more I had to complete and bring some paperwork (medical history, etc.) and a CD with two CT scans. I thought it better to submit them prior to the app't so the Dr. might have a chance to review BEFORE my visit. How could he go through all that and the scans during the app't, which I expected to be 15-20 minutes? The doctor saw me within 10-15 minutes of my appointment time and spent over 45 minutes speaking (and listening) to me, doing a brief physical exam, and then reviewing, in detail, the CT scans of my cervical and lumbar regions. He didn't review the scan in advance. He spent the time to review them with me. I was not there to proceed with any particular action or surgery. I was there to CONSULT and strategize whether to take action now (I'm 67), or wait some years, maybe 10 or whatever, to live with my ongoing condition/s (I've had a discectomy and fusion already) and take action at some later date. Dr. King understood all that, and considering the complete Degenerative Disc Disease (DDD) I have, he recommended we take a wait and see approach on the surgery. He did refer me to Dr. Doniparthi in the Pain Management clinic to again CONSULT the possibility of an injection or trigger point therapy. (I have seen her more than once before and had injections before). I did follow up with her the very next day and her assessment was basically the same - no assurance that any injection would help... might help, might not. So... wait and see as long as I could continue to function as is. I was very pleased that I was listened to, that a conservative approach was considered and taken, and will return to Dr. King, if and when, I deteriorate to needing some intervention.

I see two different doctors here, Dr. Trinkl and Dr. Bamrah. Dr. Trinkl handles my arms (for me,…read moreelbows and wrists, specifically) and Dr. Bamrah handles my legs (specifically my knees). Sometimes, I only need to see Tracy, Dr. Bamrah's assistant, and she is awesome. I have undergone carpal tunnel release surgery, as well as having an overly sensitive nerve tacked in place at my elbow, and I have had torn cartilage removed from my knee. Appointments are fairly easy to get here, with, IMHO, pretty short wait times. I don't think I've ever waited longer than 6 weeks (and that was a one-off) to get in here, versus MONTHS for the dentist or a GP. Surgery is always scheduled very quickly from your appointment, and depending on what you are having done, may be performed here in the clinic downstairs, or a nearby hospital. I've done both. The parking lot is decently sized, or there is street parking. If you're looking for a doctor who will actually listen to you AND help you, this is the place. I know other people who are patients of some of the other doctors, and they like the place as well. This location is just off 27th street on Rawson, but there is another location on the corner of 108th (Mayfair Rd.) and Burleigh, if that works better for you. 29/2024

It is tricky to seriously review someone you know to have saved your life. But I will forge ahead…read more I have had two cardiac procedures done by Dr. Grambow in the past 4 years; one, just a month ago. He is a good educator and unafraid to give important health messages. He has attracted and retained an excellent team to do procedures with him. They, too, are uniformly kind, courteous, and highly competent. Unfortunately, I have not found his offices to be as efficiently run as his surgeries. At both the south side and downtown offices, the staff range from interested and quietly competent to brusque, aloof, and pre-occupied. While I certainly wish that this would turn around -- hell, the guy saved my life!

First, I did not receive their bill and I called my insurance company who told me that they just received it as well and it looked like the office staff of RiverCrest had forgotten to send the bill. Next I called Rivercrest and spoke with someone in their office and asked why this bill for a visit 6 months previous was just being sent now and they got real nasty. When I called the billing staff to inquire about my bill they had the opportunity to find out why I did not pay it - because they didn't send it and I didn't receive it. If they would have said, oh we will send you the bill I would have paid it. Instead they got nasty which is why they get a negative review. Customers buy more than a product or service, we pay for correct billing and follow up and when businesses like Rivercrest fail on their billing and customer service the entire business fails.
