I cracked the crystal on one of my favorite watches I had mistakenly used at work. He gave me an estimate and explained the difficulty of the replacement on my particular brand of watch. I ended up vetoing the repair because I could not justify the spend knowing I might do it again to a gentle delicate watch like mine. Regardless, I returned with an old faithful work watch that can take a beating if I bump into something. He replaced the battery at a reasonable price and I am back in business. read more

I stopped by with a quick question, and after reading the great Yelp reviews decided to bring in a few more things than intended. Sam is great! He put my original deployment watch band back on and gave me lessons (those things are tricky), added a couple of charms to a bracelet, and replaced 2 watch batteries. I figured it would take some time and was part way home, but he called that he was done in less than 20 minutes. Highly recommended, and I especially like to give business to locally-owned spots. read more

I needed my watch case switched to a more comfortable model. I was in the area and thought I would try Watch Zone off Aliso Creek Road. Sam returned my phone message with specific address and within minutes I arrived at the store location. After explaining to him what I needed, Sam told me to come back in 20minutes and he would have the case switched for me. What impressed me the most, was Sam's professionalism and promptness. As a result of his fine work, I will be retuning for future service. I will also recommend his store and location to anyone that might need future watch repairs and or to check out his well stocked store of watches and accessories. Thank You Sam...You deserve a 10star rating. Patrick read more

Went into the watch zone needing a watch battery and new band. Sam was personable and welcoming as soon as I entered. He answered my questions and had my watch ready in a few minutes. He continued making small talk and was very helpful and pleasant to be with. I returned after a few minutes to seek a small band adjustment which he kindly did without charge I've walked past this store for years and now I regret not going inside earlier. Great customer service. Took in several watches for batteries and polishing. Sam was wonderful !!

This repair shop is great. I've taken two automatic watches there already. It helps that Sam is really knowledgeable about watches and a bonus is that Sam is also just a super cool guy. I've taken two automatic watches there already, both with Swiss movements and they got them fixed up right away. One had a part break off and they fixed that. The other had a movement that was rusted up and heavily damaged by water and they fixed that as well. I got my first watch back ahead of schedule too. I will be going back there for any watch repairs I have in the future. read more

Just lovely! Sam and John are pure gold!! I had my son's gold baby bracelet from 1993 that needed to be repaired so I could gift it to my grandson who was born last night! They were so kind! They repaired the damaged link, replaced one that was wearing out, and gave me invaluable information about clasps for future reference. John did the repairs and Sam graciously sat and conversed with me about babies and watches! I never felt pressured. I felt seen and valued. This is the kind of service I love to see! Thank you, gentlemen! read more

I came into this business for a simple battery replacement and after speaking with the owner Sam, I decided to bring another favorite watch of mine that unfortunately had a crack across the glass. Sam replaced my battery & replaced the glass on my Brera for under $100($95 to be exact). Also he said it would take 2 weeks and it took a little over a week. I recommend this business for all things watch related, and if you read this "thank you Sam"! read more

The face of my favorite watch had cracked and so I made a visit to Sam at Watch Zone to get it fixed. I was expecting it to be a pricey fix with a week wait, thinking Sam would need to order the correct piece... to my surprise, Sam already had the glass face to fit my watch in stock and was done with the fix in 1 hour. The best part was that it cost me only half of what I was expecting. Sam is the nicest to work with, gets the job done quickly and his prices are very reasonable. read more

I went into this new store to replace my batteries on two of my watches (Luminox and Omega). The owner of the store was very friendly and knowledgeable about watch repair. I must also state that the price and service was great. What caught me by present surprise was amonut of watches and knives displayed for sale at the store. Yes, knives! Being the collector of both watches and pocket knives, I was impressed by their good selection and competitive price. This is definitely not a big store, but it has potential to be a local small business that shines. Give them a try if you have dead watches that need to come back to life or looking for cool pocket knives for gift or for yourself. read more

GORGEOUS! STUNNING and honestly, my 20 year old wedding ring looks more beautiful now than when it was brand new! I have known many jewelers over the years and am so thrilled I found Sam and Mike. The workmanship is of the finest quality. Beyond happy with the price and these gentleman turned my ring around super fast. Just FYI: I have a 2 carat diamond that I hit really hard and sheared off the prong. Sam and Mike took their time explaining how the age of the ring was an issue. They patiently helped me to see and understand it was time for a rebuild of all the prongs. I already knew this and I knew it needed to be rodiumed, as I had taken it to another jeweler, but decided not to work with him. Sam's price was literally half of what I had been previously quoted! THESE GUYS ARE LIGIT! And, very HONEST. An absolute must when dealing with jewelry. Since then I have had repairs to my diamond earrings and 2 pavia diamond bracelets. Again, about half the price of the other store. SOOOO HAPPY!! Thank you Sam and Mike! read more

I was gifted a watch that needed band resizing. After watching a few YouTube videos and knowing I would be terrible at doing it myself, I checked Yelp for nearby locations and top rated stores. Thanks to the Community, I found Watch Zone. I called Sam and he was friendly and treated me with respect on the phone. Upon arriving, the shop was clean and welcoming. Sam and the other gentleman greeted me warmly and set my expectations on cost and duration of watch adjustment. I chatted with the other patrons while waiting, and there was plenty of cool stuff to look at in the display cases to occupy my time. The labor took less than 15 minutes, and the cost was a bargain. I'll be bringing more pieces in for work and I encourage anyone in the area to visit Watch Zone for your needs. read more

We are so pleased to share our first experience here. From the amazing professional and friendly energy that Sam, the owner, exudes, to his ever so talented jeweler, John, who offered us much patience and kindness when we came in with a box full of different rings, my mother has been dreaming of having repaired and resized for so long. The look on her face when after 10 years of not being able to wear it, she slipped on her wedding ring with tears! You did such a beautiful job! Thank you John! We'll definitely see you again! Blessings! read more

I took my Breitling watch in for a tune up, as it had been years since it had been taken apart and cleaned. Typically, these watches are recommended to be sent back to the manufacturer in Switzerland, and that takes months. Sam did a wonderful job bringing it back to it's original beauty and timing. I had it back in a bit more than a week. Sam and Co deserve all the business they can get. I was most impressed. You will be too. read more

Been meaning to write this for a while. So glad to have a place like this accessible. Sam is fantastic, whether it's how he greets and treats me or how I see him treat other customers. He has fixed many of my watches and been straight when one would either cost more, might be cost prohibitive, or might benefit from other next steps. His prices for watches are more than fair and his service is probably under-priced. He has a wide range of knowledge from older watches to new and seemingly every make. He's always nailed his promise date and often gets things done early and calls rights away. Thanks, Sam! read more

Tried this place out yesterday for the first time since it has been here a while. Sam the owner was right behind the counter. He was super kind right off the bat. I had to get a watch battery changed for a gift for a friend in the Navy. Same took care of it in 20 minutes and even resealed the watch for me so that he could use it for diving. Overall price for battery change and reseal was $50 which was fair. Enjoyed my experience here and will be bringing my other watches here for repair and battery changes. I highly recommend this place for the customer service! read more

I was in the Watch Zone for the first time about a week ago. Not only is Sam friendly and super service oriented, he quoted me a very good price up front for my two watches that needed batteries. I like that a merchant will assume you will return if you are treated well for something minor like a watch battery, and I absolutely will! There is a jewelry maker onsite and I plan to bring some of my old diamonds there to be reset in a custom ring. They also have a super selection of knives, which I don't need right now but was very interesting to browse. Thanks, Sam and company for being great to work with! read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR JEWELRY HERE. They are criminals who will steal your diamonds, scratch your gold/silver, and destroy what you value. I'm taking legal action against them as they destroyed tens of thousands of dollars of my fiancée's irreplaceable vintage heirloom jewelry, and the engagement ring I just put on her finger 3 weeks ago. When I was made aware of what had happened to the engagement ring, I confronted the owner Sam to ask him what could be done to remedy it. He made me feel like I was insane, that I was seeing things, and denied that he could even see the damage. Wish I could give more details, but I'm staying quiet until after the trial. PLEASE don't give these guys your business. I can't stand the thought of this happening to anybody else. John might be the worst human being I've ever come across. Looks you in the eye and destroys your valuables that have been passed down to you through generations without a second thought. Absolutely Evil. read more

Flawless Jewelry Repair. I was looking for jewelry repair when I found Watch Zone. I looked at the Yelp reviews and decided to call. From the first interaction, Sam, the owner, was courteous and helpful. When I came in I received an estimate. John the jeweler was knowledgeable and friendly. I have had this piece repaired multiple times and this is the first time a jeweler recommended replacement over repair. I left the piece and a couple of hours later it was done. AMAZING workmanship. It looked brand new. The customer service and same day repair added to an already wonderful experience. If you are looking for jewelry repair I definitely recommend Watch Zone, you will not be disappointed. read more

When seeking a battery replacement for two Timex watches, local jewelry stores were not offering that service any longer. After searching online, I found that Watch Zone had amazing, positive reviews! When I stopped by their small busy shop, I was immediately welcomed by the owner, Sam - and he replaced both batteries in less than 15 minutes! It happened that one of the watches had a faulty backing that wouldn't reattach properly, but Sam was able to modify it and attach it! He's highly skilled and knowledgeable, and his respectful, friendly nature is a true asset. Sam is importantly upfront about repairs and advice. All customers are treated the same no matter why they're there. And pricing is so reasonable!
