The proprietor at Time Centre said he couldn't fix it, but he could clean it. Fast forward to 2 MONTHS LATER, we still didn't get the watch back or even a phone call telling me the status. Went into the store because he had not called at all and he was totally caught off guard. My husband was told that he had tried to fix it and couldn't get the parts. It was still not cleaned. He made up a story about someone else trying to fix it and glued it somehow. None of it was true. We got the watch back that day and there was a piece broken off. Went in on a Monday to replace a new watch pin and to engrave my wedding band. "No problem" they…read moresay. $15 for the watch and $20 for engraving. I write down what I want engraved and they tell me it'll be ready for tomorrow (Tuesday). Arrive Tuesday afternoon and the watch is done but the engraving isn't ready. Ok, pretty inconvenient since I live in the South end but I'll go kill an hour so they can finish the job. Come back to pick up the ring and they have engraved the wrong date! They'll fix it but you'll have to come back tomorrow. Wednesday, third trip back to Imperial Fine Jewelers to pick up a botched engraving job on my wedding band. I walk in and the staff makes jokes that it isn't ready. Ha ha! Not funny. I look at the ring and the engraving is correct but now it's crooked and completely off center! I point it out to staff and they say I'm wrong and run off to another counter. By this time, I just want my ring back and to get out of there. He tells me that engraving is usually $70 and he'll give me a great deal of &45+tax for everything even though I was initially told $35 on Monday. Avoid this place! She did not have any Rolex's in the store but assured us that a store that they are affiliated with would have them in stock and these of course range from $5,000 to $300,000. I started perspiring when I heard these prices. She was very keen to find us what we wanted and in the price range we were looking for and after seeing a few prospective she had a quick idea of the classic but elegant style we were looking for. The quality of service here is akin to being served with white gloves, it is personable, intimate and so refined.
