I made an appointment with Sarah Mpare because the reviews said she was a good listener, thorough…read moreand compassionate. I experienced the complete opposite. Her demeanor was curt. She interrupted me each time I tried to answer a question so I asked her to please let me talk. She became visibly upset with that suggestion and was condescending in her response. After I explained to her why I was seeking medical help she starred at me in silence waiting for permission to speak. It was uncomfortable and off-putting and certainly nothing I have ever experienced from a medical professional. She then tried to hurry me through the conversation. She ordered at CT Scan which I wanted to check for infection. As we review the scan she said no infection was present. She said flippingly that she thought I just had a really bad headache. I was stunned at her lack of caring and her dismissive behavior. She made me feel like my symptoms were a mere headache. I was stunned, shocked and angered. I ended the appointment and walked out. She sent me the visit summary but blocked any response so I was unable to communicate with her. Since then, I have been to urgent care three times and am now meeting with an allergist/immunoligist because of severe food/environmental allergies that have made me very ill. I expect more from a medical professional. I hope Sarah does better for her patients moving forward.
