I had an old couch I had to get rid of. called them up and they said its about $56 , so a friend and I went and drove in, they checked the weight and then I pulled in and the guy had me pull into the hanger and dump what I had. the place itself is really bad smelling, so don't go in the dress clothes. but this place is what its meant for, trash. if you have large items to get rid of, this place will take it. they also told me that you can do a free large item removal once a year and they will pick it up right at your curb. I could not wait so I paid the $ and dropped it off.

Given the circumstances the Place is a bit too small. Other than that, it's good. Prices are also reasonable

Dump is too expensive and lady at the window rude. They close way before quoted time afraid you might not get out in time

Had a few things to recycle and Dad likes this place. My first time here or any recycle place…read more One way in and one way out, enter on Petroleum Ave. Seems like plenty of parking. Everyone is hustling and bustling. Grab a few bins to separate your recycles, bring it over to the friendly employees, they get weighed, you get paid. Quick, efficient, you're helping the environment, it's all good.

After they closed the recycling center in Gardena near Home Depot, I'm glad I found Venture. When…read moreyou shop at Costco and Sam's Club, it's amazing how fast the piles of plastic bottles and aluminum cans piles up. There's only so much microplastic our bodies can store so what to do with the macro portion left over? Sure, I could just dump it in my blue recycling cans, save time, effort, and have people digging through my recycling, dumping the rest of the contents on the street or let the city cash in my hard earned CRV. Nah. The city already takes more than their fair share of my income. The workers at Venture are always friendly and helpful. There is adequate parking and never a shortage of bins to roll over to the scales. The lot is set up so traffic goes one way, making entering and exiting efficient. It is rather grungy but it's a recycling center. I've never seen one that could pass a white glove inspection. Just wear a pair of rubber/vinyl gloves so you don't get gunk on your hands and you'll be fine. There are closer recycling centers closer to home but the guys at Venture make an inconvenient chore into a more pleasant experience.
