I worked with corridor to segregate the recyclable cardstock items with the non-recyclable tags and ribbons associated to some of the products. I had already tried two other recycling companies in Long Beach and they refused to take any of it. Although I did not receive any money for these usable printed items. I was thankful to get them off my hands.

This place has its own sanitation station, but I highly recommend bringing your own gloves and hand sanitizer. Aluminum and plastic bottles go into the orange net baskets (but should be separated). Large plastic gallons should be placed on top of small/standard water bottles. Glass bottles go into the grey plastic bins. If you come right before they open at 9AM, you'll likely run into 1-2 parties trying to be in and out of there as well. I always run into families here, but the community as a whole is pretty good about not hogging containers/baskets.

The "new guy" told me, "in the bins", and when I tried to explain what I had going, he just talked over me and said, "IN THE BINS MA'AM!". I tried to understand, or get him to explain, such as, was there a new owner? He never answered that instead just said, "limit of 15 for each type". So, I left. He was so rude! I thought the law was that if you pay a 5c deposit on a bottle, you're supposed to get 5c back?!
