Dr. Misko is the doctor whom I trust to take the place of my recently retired GP. The front desk made me feel welcome at every visit as well as over the phone. Luckily there was no one else in the office so that was a plus. I will mention he, Werthaim, said for me to see my primary doctor (FYI I don't actually have a primary doctor) or see a dermatologist. Whatever, but that's not what upset me. He recommended some blood tests and at this point I reminded him that I have a phobia of blood tests as a result of a poisoned appendix when I was a child. I would have liked a cream or something. He then starting posturing to me that he has 35 years of experience and that if I was going to question him that he other patients to take care of. I love Dr. Ho. Unfortunately, he works in the Marlboro office now. The other doctor who my daughter…read moresees is nice. I can not say the same for some of the reception staff. Extremely rude. Especially Susie. I literally walk up to the check in counter and stand there for minutes, with no smile, greeting, or even a "I'll be right with you." You just stand there and wait, while she types a chart. And she ignores you. This has happened to me multiple times. God forbid I need to update my insurance info or have a billing question, you'll really upset her. It was better when there was a sign in sheet so I didn't have to interact with her. The nurses and other technicians are all wonderful. They are kind and caring. So, take this review of what it's worth. The front reception staff is the face of the business. They fail in that area. The other areas are good. I think I'll switch to Marlboro. If they have the same issue then I'll find another allergist. Too many businesses undervalue the idea of decent service. I'm not talking about exceeding expectations, which any business should strive to do, but rather they fail at even being mediocre in this area. If you want patients who happy and continue to frequent you r office, then you should smile once in a while and don't act like you are being bothered by helping me.
