I have been shopping at The Ridge since it opened, and I am very pleased to see it thriving. It has brought a lot of old and new chains to the area. There are plenty of stores and shops to visit currently, and as of right now, late 2019, there are more stores that are making their way into The Ridge for 2020. The set up of The Ridge is very nice. Features a traffic circle which easily connects you to Walmart next door. There is a abundance of parking for all of the stores, and never have to walk too far. The store fronts are all very well decorated, and appealing. Navigating is very easy, with very minimal traffic. There are 3 ways to enter and exit The Ridge, one via Walmart. Overall this is a great shopping center for the area. It has brought many great stores and businesses to Rochester and I look forward to seeing who else joins The Ridge Marketplace!

It was a good mall that I enjoyed visiting on my occasional trips to New Hampshire to enjoy tax free shopping. The anchor stores they had there were Macy's and JC Penney which were actually two of my favorites to shop at when I frequented the mall. They had a nice food court with some very good offerings. Great selection of chain restaurants. Pizza, hamburgers and something for everyone. There were over 80 stores here at one point, some of which I've seen close over the years. The people working in the stores were always friendly and professional. If you went to the mall on the right day you could catch some good sales and get very reasonable prices. It was a fun mall to shop and it's sad to see it go.

I sure do have a lot of good memories & shopping experiences here. You will truly be missed. 3 stars now because of how empty this place is & very little stores. I'm missing a lot of them. I've always appreciated the idea of the Kittery Outlets, but the actual shopping experience has…read morebecome increasingly inconvenient. One of the biggest frustrations is the layout: instead of being able to stroll from store to store, you constantly have to get in and out of your car and drive from one shopping center to another. It really takes away from the enjoyment of outlet shopping and makes the whole day feel more like running errands than browsing. Another downside is the taxes. Whatever savings you think you're getting from outlet pricing quickly shrink once you see what you're paying in tax. It feels like a big chunk of the "discount" disappears at the register, which defeats the purpose of going to an outlet in the first place. Lastly, the number of vacant stores is hard to ignore. Whole sections look empty, and it gives the area a run-down feel. It also limits your options and makes the trip less worthwhile if the stores you came for simply aren't there anymore. Overall, the Kittery Outlets had potential, but the inconvenient layout, high taxes, and increasing number of vacant storefronts makes the experience far less appealing than it used to be.

For the negatives, the food court is pretty sad, it only has a coffee shop, a pizza restaurant, and chicken restaurant, and a small Indian restaurant. We got food from the chicken restaurant and it was disappointing. Also, it was a hot day and there's not too much shade besides going into the stores or the food court. Overall, I like the Wrentham Village Premium Outlets more in terms of their layout and larger store selection, but would recommend going here if you plan on making large purchases to save on the tax.

I've always liked it's long shape, it's brightly light atrium area for dining or reading, it's overall cleanliness, and the shops who call it home: specifically Wild Oats (one of favorite eateries in the entire state of Maine), Indrani's (where the intoxicating smell I'm obsessed with originates; it's a really cool shop specializing in globally inspired/sourced/imported home goods, gifts, clothing, jewelry, etc.), and one entrance into Eveningstar Cinema (an intimate, artsy, single screen indie movie theater that is charming and unique and smells of deliriously rich popcorn). I just feel like this spot is a frozen moment in time in the best way possible. Bathrooms available immediately upon entering, and down the flight of the stairs to the cinema.
