First, some context about the previous posts. Apparently the former owner passed around 2022 and the property was not maintained for a while. However, there are new owners and they are very friendly.
The Betty House is not so much a house as it is an antique hand tool treasure trove. If you're a carpenter looking for a great deal on an old hand plane to restore, or looking for old farm tools for decor, or antique chairs for your dining room table. this is your place! Armand was very friendly and helpful. There was only one barn open at the time we went and you park accross the street from the large barn. Armand came out and greeted us from the house we parked in front of and walked us over to the barn to answer questions and assist with our purchase. The barn is over 200 years old, so if you're sensitive to dust and dirt, be prepared. It's not clean, but there are some treasures to be found here! They do have plans to open the original house, which is being restored, with more antiques soon, the owner told us.
Definitely worth an antique tool hunters look. read more
