The owner of this company has a lot to learn about honesty, customer service, and professionalism. Tiffany seems to have VIP clients and if you are not one of them, she eventually seems pretty disinterested in providing good service. She will not take the proper time nor patience to answer questions or explain the work she has done. I suppose her customers are also supposed to have a degree in her line of work and know the nuances of taxes because that's how she comes off. She practically shouted at and hung up on me on one of our phone calls claiming I was about to go over time for my allotted time. Pretty ironic when she was almost 35 min late on our first phone appointment and claimed her last client call went over time thus why she was late to make our appointment. When you cancel her service she will continue to charge you for fees and claim that if you don't do this and that to follow-up w/her in time, then she continues to bill until you have a close-out interview with her. Do yourself a favor and hire someone else who cares about their customers and isn't full of themselves. read more

I own a small consulting firm and reached out to Washington Accounting because I have been paying a ton of money every year in taxes and didn't think I should be. I kept seeing their ads on Facebook so figured why not? I had an initial consultation which was very thorough. I was quite surprised actually at how well they explained what tax planning is and why I've been overpaying for years. The consultation was free and by the end of the call I had learned quite a bit. I also learned that I had been overpaying in taxes for years!!!! They found estimated tax savings of $46k in 2022. I about hit the floor! I immediately signed up for their quarterly service. Once my plan was complete the savings were over $50k! I'm still shocked. The team has been super helpful and very knowledgeable. Tiffany, the owner, has been involved in my planning and is smart as a whip!!! She also has a great team that is always there to answer questions. I've been dealing with Washington for two years as an employee of a company that used her for accounting. In that time it has been a continual fight to get the simplest of tasks completed (Filing a proper W4, or mailing address updates), and a complete lack of responsibility. First she messed up my address and sent a W2 to an address I hadn't lived in for 3 years. I had to go through pain to get a new one mailed and when I asked what happened to the old one she said she had shredded it when it was returned. She never reached out to me to fix the issue. Then when I moved I was forced into a tax situation that she misinterpreted and I was paying taxes for a state I'd never lived in or worked in before. Her lack of knowledge and understanding of tax laws led to a lot of pain to fix her mistakes. Her latest issue has me in another bind and after I expressed my disappointment yet again she just stopped answering my emails with anything other than "please don't contact me any more." I have no words to truly emphasize Ms. Washington's complete lack of professionalism. When I express my frustration with her continued lack of performance/execution I'm just met with attitude and then eventual disregard. She denies responsibility for her mistakes. When I ask to speak with someone who can help me she just tells me everything is out of her hands. I'm frustrated beyond words and I'm thankful that my company opted to let her go when we were moved to a new contract. I would not recommend using their services unless you want to go through the pains of the most unprofessional tax service I've ever dealt with. read more

This company is unprofessional and unresponsive! This company charges over $400 to complete simple taxes and has a history of having people owe the IRS. WAS prepared my taxes for 5 or more years. Ms. Tiffaney and her staff are respectful, courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. Very trust worthy...I thought. Although, many of my friends that have used their services in the past stopped going their for several different negative experiences they shared with me, I chose to continue with WAS service. After all, my friends' experiences were never mine. Until the 2017 tax filing. I too had a negative experience for which all of what happen, how it happen, the ghetto tone of Ms. Tiffaney and her team made me very unaffordable to the point I had to excuse myself and leave immediately. I didn't want to believe it was actually happening. The experience overall was nothing short of what my friends already told me. Here a synopsis of what happen to me. I emailed my docmentation the day before. I arrived at my appointment time and waited for 30 minutes in their conference room. The assistant finally came into see me and said, I didn't want to be the person to tell you, but you owe taxes. Therefore, your preparation fee is due now. It's always dissapointing when you find out you owe taxes, but the most dissapointing was hearing the asstant tell me this like it was a joke, like I had know feelings behind the inevitable. She literally thought it was funny that I owed taxes. Who does that?! So, I asked, who do I owe, Federal or State? The assistant said she didn't know. Then I asked, how much do I owe? She again said she didn't know. Thinking to myself...so they want me to pay the fee without seeing the prepared taxes...something is not right...they never did this before. There's more to my story, but I'll digress here. Do yourself a favor and do not get your taxes done there. The firm-client relationship will start off well, but as soon as you ask a question that is not to their liking, you are simply treated like a dollar sign because all they are interested in is getting your money. This was the first time I used this accounting service and had terrible service and requested a follow up meeting due to errors and lack of information. Had to email Tiffany Davis with questions and they weren't fully answered. Actually two questions were not even answered. Not sure if the taxes were actually filed as there were SSN errors and bad tax advice on a simple settlement of an estate. I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more
