To all my friends and family in the Washington Mo. area... I took my computer to WASH PC last November to have the DCjack replaced.(which took 3 weeks to fix!) After having it back for a month or so I noticed it was starting to come apart at the DCjack area. I went back to WASH PC and was told it was just a screw that had came out. About another month went by and it started coming apart at the DC jack again. I took it back to WASH PC. I was told that it would cost ME upwards of $60.00 for them to fix it!! I was astounded. Never have I taken the back off of my computer! Whatever the problem was causing this stems from whatever WASH PC did when inside the computer! And now expect ME to pay for it! I got no reaction what so ever when I told them I wasn't a satisfied customer! Guess I am SOL for expecting them to have the integrity to stand behind their work! I am posting this via my phone, since my computer is dead and can't charge it at all now after I picked it up! (And I could charge it when I took it to them this last time!) I would NOT recommend you take your computer there or it may end up costing you a brand new one! UPDATE.. WASH PC told me that I dropped it or broke it somehow and are trying to get a free fix! They did not really fix our computer. Maybe it is not fixable, but they implied over the phone it was fixed. I paid the fee anyway even though they did not fix it since it seemed to be partially fixed, but once we brought it back home it did not really work at all. read more
