I was given a gift card from a family member for Christmas. I decided while visiting my brother and…read morehis fiancé to get my car cleaned inside and out. This location is on the frontage road, right off 34 (not business 34 but actual 34). There is a lot of traffic in the area so best to be attentive while driving. This location gets VERY busy, especially on nice days. There are helpful signs about where to pull in and which way is enter and exit. You can choose your type of package and if you only want a car wash or the interior cleaned as well. I do wish this was a touchless car wash. It isn't. There is someone directing people entering the building. You MUST put your car into neutral and keep your hands OFF the wheel/brakes/etc. It is mechanically guided. I do like the 6-8 big fans at the end of the wash, they did a pretty good job about drying my vehicle. The staff is helpful and very busy. They seem young but very respectful. They tell you where to park. It is best to make sure all your trash in the vehicle is out (there are trash cans) and stuff moved (trunk if need be) and then give them your keys. You can sit outside on several benches they have or inside. The day I was there, it was very very busy. At least 6-8 cars deep. They may need more employees. I also learned that you are not allowed to tip them at all. They get paid hourly and according the the young lady I spoke to, they get paid well. I was very impressed with how well they did and being so thorough. The lady I spoke to spent a lot of time on cleaning and vacuuming. Again, it depends on the package you ask for. I got the lesser of the two on the inside. I should have gone for the more expensive one. I am not sure how much they are doing with the pandemic so best to ask. I like my seats being wiped down along with all surfaces inside. Vacuuming the floors, the seats, in between all crevasses. Overall I am happy with the job they did. My only wish is #1 They have a touchless one and #2 trash is picked up more on the facility grounds. There was a lot on the ground that day and I am sure it was due to how busy they were. I am sure I will return again another day.

They have sped up the line. The person directing does a terrible job putting you in the center…read more Nothing like getting your rims bent.

BG Automotive? More like "BS" Automotive. The one star is for an oil change (since 0 stars is not…read morean option). BG Auto IS SHADY, smooth talking for sure, but A RIP OFF. STAY AWAY. This is a lengthy description, but it's not half the story. To all the glowing 5 star reviewers - check your invoices. The problem started with their "courtesy inspection" accompanying the oil change, where half of their recommendations (deemed red flag "Requires Immediate Attention") ultimately turned out to be mostly unnecessary and absurdly expensive. That became apparent only after paying. My bad, of course, I obviously should have asked to see a detailed estimate prior to the work. The initial estimate did not provide parts or labor detail & appeared to indicate the work was part of a "complete tune up." Upon dropping off the truck, "Service Advisor"Jesse stated that Champion copper spark plugs had been factory installed on 2013 RAM 2500s, so that was best & what BG would install. Classic BAIT & SWITCH: BG charged $508.48 for a set of 16 plugs! When I challenged the bill, asking if "kryptonite plugs" were installed instead, Jesse indicated, no, the copper plugs were used... then he checked his computer & stated, actually no, in fact the [far] more expensive NKG iridium plugs were installed. "They're much better because they last up to 100,000 miles," he emphasized. I replied, "Great. BG just changed out NGK iridium plugs that had been in the engine already, with only 60,000 miles on them." The WORK WAS COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY. Also on the bill was a "TOTAL FEES" charge of $175.77 (yes, that specific), but with ZERO DETAIL of what those fees were for or how they were calculated. Jesse couldn't provide that detail either, "It could be shop supplies, or hazardous disposal - you know, those state regulations - it could be almost anything." Note there were no hazardous materials involved with this work, such as a tire or battery disposal fee. (Google search indicates: In Colorado, shop fees are usually calculated as a percentage of the labor cost (e.g., 5-10%) and are often capped at a maximum amount (e.g., $25 to $50). Also, Colorado statute requires the repair invoice to have some kind of description of these fees, and further, "a description of each part by name and identifying number." Nowhere on the invoice was the type of plugs installed specified, either. You get NADA DETAIL from BS Automotive. Finally, while repair shops typically mark up parts 70-100% of wholesale price, BG is marking up parts in the ballpark of 100% of retail price. (If you can pry out of them the parts brand they say they'll use, you can easily verify this with a Google search at their counter.) They should be ashamed and embarrassed for what they're charging the hardworking folks of Longmont. When pressed to justify the charges, Jesse insisted they were competitive, "within 5% of other local repair shops." More BS. Comparing apples to apples (parts & labor only), the local dealership quoted over $200 less, the Loveland repair shop I've frequented in the past was over $400 less (obviously, checked after the fact...). If the handful of other shops Jesse quoted are actually within 5%, they are ripping us off too. Jesse would not budge on the final bill, but he did offer to comp me an oil change. As if! I had already told him I would never set foot in BG Automotive again. However, I would take a call from the BG Automotive (Owner) to provide the rest of the story about this pathetic BG encounter.

The day of I went to the address on the Groupon only to arrive at my appt time to find a closed building. I did ask the business next door about them and they said they had been closed a while. Went to my emails seen a completely different address in the email so I drove to it. It's at a personal house in almost downtown Greeley. Not a shop with a waiting room but a home people live in. The gentlemen I spoke with was polite said he could still get me in shortly after his job was finished ( which he was in the middle of working on at my scheduled appointment time. I was about 30 minutes late for my detail and he told me he would be done in 15 minutes ) I asked where I could wait at and was told inside the car which is a 2 seater sports car or on the curb. I am a young adult female. This made me feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. When I called about the issues the female on the phone was very short said they are keeping my $75 because I didn't cancel 72 hours prior that the detailers are professional but took no care in how unsafe and uncomfortable I felt. they did offer to reschedule to the Fort Collins location but I would have to pay them another $75 for the appointment. They kept the $175 Groupon payment they were paid and marked it as filled with no service provided pretty sure that Groupons aren't supposed expire until used so this company literally stole my Groupon payment by marking it as fulfilled . This is horrible business practice buyer beware don't buy Groupons with this company and be aware they demand $75 upfront if you don't show or don't cancel they keep your money anyways.
