I have been coming to Wash Fox for years, literally years- my husband was manager and even after leaving we continued supporting this specific car wash because John always kept such high standards and my car always came out amazing! We drive from Keenesburg to either location because I've always loved their services so much- until today! I took my car in, paid for the deluxe and specifically made sure it came with bug remover, the first time around, absolutely no bug spray was sprayed, they didn't wash down the back either- no big deal we all get busy. I notified a staff member where she told me to go back through, upon going through again, I had to yell for the young man who was operating the wash because again- no bug spray. He lightly sprayed over my roof for about two seconds, as I came out of the car wash I notified the manager that again he was not going to use bug spray and he literally sprayed over my hood as my vehicle was rolling in, she said she would go and spray it herself and to go through again, but I should use their self service bug area... if that's the case, why pay for a Deluxe? Why have I never had this issue? At this point another young man began taking pictures of my license plate and the staff began talking amongst each-other as if I had done something wrong when I had expressed my concern after the very first car wash. Even after all of that I left with my windshield and front end of the car still full of bugs. This is how business is lost, after all my years of coming I have never experienced bad customer service. Everyone has always been so thorough, efficient, and polite. This experience will not prevent me from continuing to support Wash Fox, but I definitely will not be returning to the Thornton location anytime soon. For the last few times (oct/nov) I've used Washfox in thornton the microfiber towels leave a dirty film on the windows. I've been a member since you opened and this has never been a problem. Why are the towels dirty all of a sudden? It's frustrating to spend the time cleaning windows to later find streaks and dirty film. Otherwise I'm happy with the facility. read more

Wow, what a terrible place. Not only did the automatic car wash ripped off my wiper blade.. and broke the arm attachment, the customer service was terrible. You would think they would be apologetic about breaking a $100+ part on my car, but no they cared less. Handed me a claim sheet and said they would "review the cameras" and get back to us. Well I have been coming to this car wash since it opened. I have brought many vehicles here to and maintained a membership for most of my time coming here. But these last few years I've maintained 2 memberships. I've also only had their highest memberships too. I brought my vehicle in today 10/29/25 and the owner kept eyeballing me like I was a criminal. He inputs my license then comes up to me and asks if I'm going to wash my car too. I was like yeah I have memberships here. The inside was pretty muddy and dirty and I have to get this cleaned out since it's so bad. Then I use Adams polish cleaners cause they are a lot better. He was like really you you have a membership? I pulled you up and it didn't show up. The moron inputted the incorrect plate number. Then he has the nerve to tell me how to wash my vehicle. Yeah okay buddy. Maybe next time don't assume and maybe open your eyes or clean your glasses. Memberships canceled right then and there. I took my car through this wash for the first time and it scratched my car up and down, both sides and the hood. I filed an incident with the manager and after still not being contacted 48 hours later I called back and eventually spoke with Josh. He told me after reviewing their video he claims the scratches were there prior to me entering, even though those areas were covered in mud, and that they did not cause the damage. The wash most definitely did do the damage and he refuses to accept any responsibility for the damage. He told me to file a claim with my insurance, seems to be he should be filing the claim with their insurance to repair the damage. They also had the nerve to charge me for the membership. I went in person with my husband and spoke to an employee to cancel because we were moving away from the area. He told us it was canceled. My credit card continued to be charged monthly. I tried calling and no one answers. I followed the directions on the message to send and email with no response. My husband also had his card repeatedly charged after canceling. Tried Wash Fox for the first time last week. I turned on my wipers afterwards and was missing my driver side $30 winter blade. Immediately went in to the office to have them look for it. They said it usually happens at the blower but couldn't find it and said they would call when they did. No word from them so I stopped in a few days later. I was handed my mangled wiper blade. I filled out a damage form and was told I would hear back in a couple days. Crickets... Guess I won't be going back. They try to sell you their monthly packages but who can afford it if you have to replace wiper blades? Update: Took them a week to get back to me. Jason told me they won't pay for damaged wipers and it was probably my fault. He did offer me a free wash. Fool me once... I can't afford a $15 blade for every $10 wash. Let me say, this was about the cleanest my car has been going through a drive-through car wash. However, it severely damaged the paint! There were minor specs of paint removed and both sides of the car came out very scratched. My car is no junker either, but a newish luxury sedan with (formerly) perfect paint. And, of course, they make you jump through hoops to cancel your membership... even after their wash damaged my vehicle. Wouldn't recommend. read more

Ok. First time I went it was "fine". I got a $12 wash and there were still bugs stuck to my hood and streaks, thought I should have spent a little more and maybe it would have been better. Today though. Oh my lord. I paid for their top wash and as soon as the wash started so did the worst smell I have ever experienced. I legitimately wondered if maybe a small animal had died in my engine and the water was somehow activating the stench (I had been driving all morning and that was not it). My children and I were screaming "oh my god, what is that smell?!" Frantically trying to cover our noses with masks and I resorted to sniffing antibacterial wipes so I didn't vomit. The smell didn't disappear for an hour. We drove with the windows down and it's 44 degrees out. I thought for sure something was wrong so I wrote the company but upon looking at reviews apparently this a known and ACCEPTED realty by this location. YUCK. I will never subject myself to that smell again. Decomposing durian, rotten eggs. Nasty. Plus, still bugs on the car and expensive. This is a new car wash in the Thornton area and like most washes it's about 90 to 100 percent automated. You drive up to a pay kiosk select the services and slide your credit card then an actuator arm raises up and you can proceed to the wash tunnel. I don't know if just because it's new but there were employees standing by the kiosk able to assist if you had any questions and to sell subscriptions to monthly wash packages. Another thing I've noticed about car washes lately it's that all of them seem to flash multicolored lights in the middle of the wash, I don't know the reason other than for entertainment. Kind of like pointing a laser beam in front of a cat. But the wash quality was good and they have around 20 or more vacuum stations with a place where you can hang up your floor mats and they also have a air hose, at first I thought this was to inflate your tires but apparently it's to blow out tiny little crevasses around the door jams and other body panels. Email never came, drove to Quebec Street and was turned away as "we are not taking that anymore. Sent an email about this bait and switch, the need to update the offer form to not allude to getting a free car wash . Never heard back on email, next day their system sent me $8 off a wash... I never go through express carwashes as I always hear stories of damage occurring. Out of desperation, yesterday I took my black 4Runner (very good paint job) to Washfox at Quebec and 128th Ave in Thornton and came out with 3 prominent scratches deep into the paint, in 3 different areas of the vehicle. There are two on the drivers side and the worst is on the passenger side. These are not surface scratches that can be buffed out. I'm absolutely sick to my stomach. I hand wash my vehicle always, so I am very aware of any existing scuffs. I noticed two of these immediately after when I pulled to the vacuums. I took my brand new 2021 GMC Sierra through the car wash a couple different times since I had purchased the monthly pass with my previous vehicle. After the last car wash I noticed numerous different scratches and hair line scratches on the truck, specifically the driver side. I went back within a few hours to show the scratches, the manager Gil looked at it, wiped different areas off and said that many of the scratches couldn't have been caused by their car wash but that he would get back to me after they did their investigation and looked at their cameras. During that inspection, they also tried to indicate that those scratches were already on it and questioned whether I had inspected the truck before I bought it or that they were from somewhere else. As I mentioned, this truck was brand new and since I paid over $50k, yes, I looked it over in detail before I left the dealership and this is the only car wash I had used. They took an incident report and were going to call me later that week. Over 2 weeks later, I had to call back and Gil says that their system "lost" my information and that they are now assuming no responsibility. I included pictures of some of the more prominent scratches, and even though they are "around 4 inches" as Gil mentioned is apparently the only scratches that could be possible from their machines, they aren't taking any responsibility because they haven't had other complaints and the scratches could have happened elsewhere. When I asked about their camera footage they were going to look at, nothing but dodging the question. On top of that, when I cancelled the membership they still charged me for an additional month since I hadn't cancelled in sufficient time per the contract. Don't go to Wash Fox, especially if your car is more than 10 years old- - they will damage your car! Went on Sunday to give them a try. During the wash, my antenna was violently broken off and was slammed into my car sun roof, then slid down the windshield. It hit so hard it sounded like a piece of the roof had slammed down into the car! I filed an incident report and was promised the manager would get back to me. As of Wednesday, I had heard nothing so stopped back to see the Manager. I was informed that since my car is more than 10 years old, they will not repair the damage! I told the manager (1) that I have been through hundreds of car washes, and this has never happened, (2) it was going to cost $140 + labor to fix at Toyota and (3) just because my car is older doesn't mean they have the right to destroy it and not care. All he said was their insurance wouldn't cover it. Manager told me to go to Auto Zone and they could fix for $18. When I asked for the $18 he refused. Went to Auto Zone to check, and because the antenna was broken off, it could not be fixed for $18. So essentially the Manager lied--he saw my car and the damage and would have known this was a lie! I told the Manager I would never be back, would tell friends/neighbors, and was going to post on social media. He didn't care! I'm hoping that the owner sees this and contacts me to make this right. read more

Very disappointing, I purchased the Fox Deluxe $19.86 at 10:11 on 3/14/2023 Car# 443 shift 1. This was my last purchase and I will not return. I have low expectations of car washes to begin with. This was the third time that the tire shine didn't work at all. I spoke to the manager who did offer excuses and to let me run through a second time but I told her no thanks I'll just go elsewhere. Don't come here, their machine gave me a flat tire, and when I told them, they said that my truck had a flat tire, but that he didn't saying because he thought we knew, like if we knew, why would we be at the car wash? The tires we fine when we got on the truck 10 minutes before arriving, there is no way. Didn't do anything to help us. Never coming back. The machine got us a flat tire because the brushes and other cleaning components are often not adequately maintained, and can end up scratching or even puncturing your tires. If they had taken responsibility, I wouldn't even leave a negative review, but I feel like a need to warn others because it's not fair. read more

I have been a loyal customer since day 1. I have 4 of my cars with a monthly pass. Last Saturday, one of the brushes broke my rear wiper arm of my 2021 car. I filed an incident report and was told that I was going to receive a call within 24-hr. No one called me and after me calling and stopping by the car wash several times a manager called me and said that they will not cover to repair the broken wiper arm. I was expecting to at least pay for that repair or to give me credit in my monthly passes. I am very disappointed with this situation. One of the best wash processes around the Thornton area. For my pickup this car wash gets front and rear sections cleaner than Cobbelstone and the drying process is top notch as well. Sadly, I took advantage of a free car wash at Wash Fox Car Wash (129th & Quebec in Thornton). Worst mistake ever. I had recently purchased a brand-new car that was less than a month old, which is not something I've ever done before. Wanting to see that bright and shiny paint after driving through snowy winter roads, I took it to Wash Fox. After I got home from the car wash and saw my car in the sunlight, I was shocked to find thousands of scratches over every surface of my car. And some of them were fairly deep. I called the manager right away and he told me to bring the car in so he could take a look at it. I did so and after he looked it over and saw my concern he told me not to worry--that this was common with car washes--he'd experienced this as well and all my car needed was buffing. He said he would contact a professional buffer and have my car fixed. He said that he would contact the owner that day. He said he would make it right. I gave him my information and left the carwash heartbroken, but assured that he would do as he promised. He emailed me and asked me to fill out an incident report. I did so and awaited his response. When he never got back to me, I emailed him again. No response, so I stopped by the car wash. He wasn't there but the assistant manager said she'd have him call me back by the next day. He did call me back that day but it was all back-pedaling. He told me that after their review they determined that their carwash did not cause the scratches on my car. When I reminded him of the things he previously said and promised he just kept repeating himself that they accepted no fault and had no idea what could have caused all those scratches on my car but it was not their carwash. He said they've serviced over 200 cars through the carwash and no one has complained about scratches. I expressed concern that when I was there that very day I saw a truck leaving their carwash and when the sun shone on it, I saw the same scratches all over their car. He ignored me and just kept denying responsibility and his previous promises. I would stay away from Wash Fox Car Wash. They will damage your car and they will not accept any responsibility for it.
