I am very apprehensive about washaterias, but this one was so CLEAN and smelled great. I went on a Monday and was very pleased. There's a coin machine and there are two different sizes of machines for washing. The big machines are $7.50 and the small ones are $5.25. The cleanliness of this place made my view on washaterias change. Great job to the young man that was wiping everything down!

Terrible customer service! I will not return to this place…read more I used 4 washers, sat in the car until loads were done. One washer left my clothes completely dry. I mentioned to the guy onsite and he was not concerned. Told me I should have said something before my wash was competed. WTH! I expected my $4.50 back. I ended up spending another $4.50 in a different washer because I had still had clothes to dry. On top of that, he did not place a "out of order" sign on it. I don't do as much dry cleaning lately because I don't wear suits and go to an office very often. Family owned and operated and you can tell because they really care about their customers as if they expect to see them again. Always greeting with a smile . Not too chatty but friendly and efficient . They're also great for getting your rugs cleaned. They don't do that on premise but it still doesn't take that long for them to send them out and get them back. They're also a good location to get alterations and minor repairs on your clothing. Even have a curtained dressing room for you to put on whatever you need fitted and they'll pin it and adjust it so it's exact. And then within a week you'll have your item back. I've never lost an item there, although I have been known to leave a brooch or business cards in a pocket and when I pick up, they're in a little Ziploc bag attached to my clothing. As a locally owned business, it's delightful to see how they support the programs in the area, particularly anything a non-profit is doing and anything that the local schools are producing. They don't offer coupons anymore. I think it's because so few people out actually dry clean from something to preferred vendor and just pay what the asking is. A bunch of other dry cleaners that used to have coupons don't offer them either. Tip is if you're dropping off and want to go through their drive up window it is best to enter down by the ophthalmologist on the corner and come around back so you're going the right way. Otherwise you have to go through and make a u-turn to come back through the drive-thru. Pick up is easy though if you just want to pull up in space just outside cuz doesn't take as long to pick up as it does to drop off.

After returning from a cruise nine months ago, I took a suit and several pair of dress pants in for cleaning. Three weeks ago, left on another cruise. Packed dress pants in the plastic covering provided by Kim's. Was shocked when I put on one pair of pants and the cuffs barely cleared my ankles. The pants were of good quality and never had previous issues. Went to Kim's as soon as I returned. They denied any and all responsibility. Showed them the receipt for when the pants were cleaned. I was told, "not their fault." Strongly recommend not using Kim's.
