I've…read morenoticed that over the past few years that they went from loving the course to becoming extremely stressed the last year or two when playing there. The course is always backed up with the Marshall checking in even though there's a group of four walkers in front of us. This last time, today, was especially bad. We played 18 holes; the first nine holes were understandably (seeing it's Memorial Day) completely backed up. We had a group of four women, playing from the yellow tees, right behind us. We expected the course to play pretty slow, but it ended up being slower than expected. All the while, this group was very close behind us. My husband and his father had both been doing really well from the blues, so they wanted to try the blacks. And my mother in law has always gone from the greys. However, the women behind us (going from yellow) were right behind my mother in law's drive from the grey, almost hitting us every hole. We played 18 holes and on the 15th, an older woman who claimed that she worked at Valley View, came up to us on her cart. She said she worked there and that "they've been behind us the whole time since hole one". When we explained that we were behind a group on the first nine and had no choice, plus we stopped at the grill on hole ten (which they did too) she urged us to move along, making it so all of us were stressed and distracted so much so that some of us didn't even finish the game. The last few times at this course have been unpleasant, and if a person who works there treats us like how she did this last instance, it's not worth going to again.

He analyzes each stroke and identifies specific fixes. He was able to consistently coach my 7 year old and keep him focused. He has kids constantly self monitor their technique so they are getting better independently as well as with him. Nate's coaching style is such that his swimmers love him but also know they must push themselves and do their best. They learn that hard work is hard but rewarding.

We had such an amazing experience today at the aquatic center pool. I'm grateful the day passes are…read moreaffordable and we hope to eventually get memberships but it was a great day regardless! It was easy to purchase the passes on the website and then come into the pool area. It was so nice having a family bathroom too and seeing a few of them so that we didn't feel too rushed getting into our suits. My 2 year old is usually afraid of the water and I wasn't sure how he'd like it but he was so excited! Big kiddos to the kiddie area with the slide. It got him out of his shell and he became a new kid. He was actually purposefully dunking himself and getting his face wet. We spent a good amount of our time jumping off the side of letting him practice floating on his back. He even tried his new floaty for the first time and even wanted to try swimming by himself. He even tried the big water slide! They also had a good amount of lifeguards and all of them were spaced in the right places in every possible corner of the pool. I'm not used to that or the lifeguards don't seem to want to be there but every lifeguard was alert and paying attention. And they rotated fairly often which was nice too! We didn't go to the outside pool though. All in all it was an amazing first time and we'll definitely be coming back again this summer!

If your little one doesn't like to get splashed in the face this is a good time to go. It's pretty empty and if you are swimming with people who are not "toddlers" they can also swim. The environment did not align with our family's values, nor did it reflect the principles of personal freedom, equality, and respect for individual rights that we prioritize. I have concerns about the transparency of the vetting process for volunteers and coaches who work directly with our children. That said, the app they use is a great tool--if access is granted. We are seeking enrollment with a more established organization with a long-standing reputation and experience for Spring 2025.

He had been going to Vasa or golds and staying in somewhat respectable shape, but he knew high intensity fitness was what the research has been showing to be the most successful. So Moe joined RCF. He was apprehensive at first about not being able to do a lot of the lifts and not being able to keep up with the really fit guys. But they all welcomed him with open arms and were never shy about sharing workout tips and offering help. Every coach has been fantastic to work with. Even Van who yells at me during the workout, I know he's just trying to help. Moe has been doing CrossFit now for about 5 months and his body has changed for the better as has his mind.
