When we arrived we were surprised by the long line and packed tables - clearly we weren't the first to discover such a gem (but the line moved quickly)! We had crispy fried spring rolls, bo luc lac (shaking beef), and beef pho (noodle soup) paired with two ice cold Singha beers. We finished off the meal with a delicious Vietnamese sesame cake and a Vietnamese iced coffee. At the end of our meal, the wonderful owner told us with pride that she had been in business with her husband running the restaurant for 21 years!!! She showed us her profile from a local Marseilles magazine and also told us that the restaurant was featured in a NYT travel article (https://www.nytimes.com/2019/10/08/travel/lyon-marseille.html). Both dishes were served with perfectly cooked noodles and quality ingredients, spiced just right. However, the highlight was our shared entree, the summer rolls (Les roulettes printemps), topped with chopped peanuts and served with a delicate sweet sour spicy vinegar dipping sauce.
