The tennis courts seem to be used just about every day during lunchtime and after 5, even when it's chilly. The playground is full of kids playing and in the warm weather there's a splash park. This is an amazing community park that seems to have a lot of birthday parties on the picnic tables and friends gathering in the green space.

Street parking makes it easily accessible from multiple points. This year they added some exercise equipment around the walking path close to the splash pad and the different playground equipment services, both little and big kids. There is a massive field with enough space to play a good game of kickball or soccer and a few picnic tables which make it a good place to come play then take a break with a well packed lunch Definitely a sweet spot to hang out with kiddos.

It's right smack in the middle of a neighborhood, and there is no parking area so you'll have to street park in front of someone's house. Bingham Park is a small, four-acre neighborhood park beloved by those, like us, who live around it. Fun fact: It was designed by the Olmsted Brothers in 1915. It has a set of swings and a jungle gym, which my son now particularly loves. This includes several slides, his favorite. There are a few places where a kid could easily fall off the play center, though, so keep an eye out when your kids are playing on it. The park seemed better cared for compared to when I wrote my last review last year. The graffiti was gone, and the grass was well maintained. There's parking up on the hill too in case you want to drive to this somewhat hidden spot. If you love Louisville parks and especially the lesser-known ones, Bingham Park is definitely worth a visit!

Let alone a huge river is truly amazing. The beautiful Ohio is along side this water park under the Big Four Bridge on the Louisville, Kentucky side. You can let the kids play in the water and on various jungle gym playgrounds. Parking is free but most individuals walk or bike here. Relax under a tree that will tell you a story and swing. This is the Midwest and all along the shore line are swings that the city have installed to help you relax and recover from your long day . Enjoy the sunshine and views from nature .

The long walkway goes along the river next to the playground. The playground itself is quite big, most of it on soft mat ground. There are multiple sections, each have different activities such as slides, ladders, ramps, sliding rails. The park of was mostly clean but some areas were showing signs of aging. But overall the park is really popular among locals. Lots of kids were in park when we visited the playground with our daugher.

This park has a Beautiful 27 hole golf course known as Quail Chase Bordering lake Mc Neely. There are plenty of spots for fishing but some of them you will need to take a short hike down a gravel road. If you bring a wagon make sure it has bigger wheels but probably best to carry everything to make it easier. There is a fishing dock as well that's pretty big and most definitely is shareable with a few groups. The hiking trail that extends around to the dam is a fun walk since it goes in and out of wooded covering. Makes it great for sunny days as well. The playground is nice and maybe small to moderate size. There are BBQ stands to use and picnic tables. There are bathrooms but not very quick to get to from most parts of the park so keep that in mind. Great place to kayak as well! Great views and since the lake is narrow it makes it feel more like a river to go through. Super fun place! Glad to see them doing more work on it Only criticism is that there is lots of trash and even though it's the patrons fault, the park could do a better job at cleaning it up. Watch your little ones so they don't pick up pokey fish hooks or broken bottles.

There are miles of trails for hiking and biking, you can access the creek for kayaking, or you can visit the Brown-Forman Silo Center to take in the views. All of The Parklands are great, but I particularly love this area. It's absolutely beautiful, and there's so much to do. Plus, it's easy to customize your trip here however you like, you can spend as much or as little time as you'd like, based on how much you want to do. If you're looking for a fun spot to spend some time outdoors, you should definitely check out Turkey Run Park!

Like broad run turkey run does offer very cool walking trails and breathtaking views. While they don't have a splash ground or traditional playground like broad run they do have a great area to relax in front of the brown foreman silo. Which is a unique attraction itself as you can climb up there and take in all the views from high above. Like most parks and things to do in the parklands park system you can't really go wrong with whatever you choose to do. Loads of family fun to be had.
