Finding Robsion Park was a delight. A nice, quiet park about a mile from home is what we need for Sheltie walking. When you enter the park there are a couple sets of playground equipment for the kids (or the not-quite-grownup-adults) to play on, and the parking area is very convenient. The park is well-treed ... well-tree-ed ... well-tree'd ...has a lot of trees and paved paths that surround and crisscross the park. Although the park is surrounded by a post office, an apartment complex, a few small businesses and some residences, you hear very little of the city/street noise when you're in the park. It's also much larger than it looks when you first enter. On any given day you'll see families having a picnic, kids on a playset, dog walkers walking dogs, readers reading, couples coupling (not like that), frisbees frisbeeing, and recreationers recreationing. The park is kept very clean and the lawn well-maintained. I'm told that they set fireworks off in this part on the 4th of July, but we haven't been here long enough to confirm or enjoy that. Robsion Park is a great and unexpected find. Louisville is always surprising me.

This park is located behind the Lyndon Post Office and Lyndon Christian church. You could easily drive right by without knowing its there. It has a BIG playground area...there's a playground for the bigger kids including an area where they can do some acrobatic-type play, a "regular" playground for all sizes, a swing set, and a spray (water works playground) ground for little ones. Lots of opportunities for kids to make friends as its nearly always busy during those warmer months. With it being so big and the playground itself having so many different fun activities, its a great place to run off some energy and get creative. There are nice restrooms as well and a nice sized walking/jogging path. Its great for dog walking! A small pavilion is located near the center of the park as well. Great park!

Robison Park was already great, but now they have a super cool spray pad at the post office end of the parking lot. I've been a fan for a while though. It's not necessarily convenient to where I live, but it's a cool park if you have kids with you: playground equipment for all ages, benches in the shade, a covered picnic area, bathrooms, and now the spray pad. If you're with older kids who don't need as much supervision you can even get some exercise on the pave walking path loop. A+

Great walking park. Walk by yourself or with your animal, kids playing in the fields, people playing catch with their dogs. Great park.

Such a nice park within walking distance of many Lyndon neighborhoods. The walking trail is shaded and well-paved. Very dog friendly!

Plenty of space for walking/playing with the dog, and a splash pad + two age appropriate playgrounds for the kiddos.

The playgrounds are great quality and nicely divided so kids of different ages have plenty to enjoy. One of the best parts is how walkable it is to downtown. Sweet shops, cafés, antique stores -- everything's just a short stroll away. It makes for a perfect outing: play, grab a treat, maybe shop a bit. The pavilion is beautiful and gives the park a polished, welcoming feel. Plenty of shady spots and benches make it easy for parents (and grandparents!) to sit and relax while the kids burn off energy. All in all, if you're looking for a peaceful, charming park close to town with good amenities, Springs Park delivers. Highly recommend for families, casual visitors, or anyone wanting a breath of fresh air in a pretty setting.

What a treasure for the residents of La Grange! This beautiful park was opened in 2022 and has…read moresomething for everyone. The expansive brick-arched pavilion resembles a train station which is in keeping with the trains that travel down the town's Main Street daily. I was told that the pavillion is host to many musical events and the Saturday artisans/farmer's market. Also keeping with the town's love of trains, there is a piece of playground equipment fashioned after a locomotive. The playground has areas that are appropriate for younger and older children. Included in the areas are musical instruments, slides, rope bridge, climbing wall, merry-go-round and more. There is a building with very nice restrooms. There is an area of dedicated parking and there is also street parking available nearby. There is an abundance of nearby shops and eateries along Main Street.
