My son started here about 1.5 months ago. We had trialed a few different places before stumbling in these doors. There was a certain vibe that could be felt from the beginning. Kristi and Adam were both super helpful getting us signed up, without any pressure, just a willingness to help and talk to me about what I was looking for and how they could be that fit for my son. I understand the need to have a heart and a passion for what you do when you choose to be a small business owner, and you can feel it here. Not only is Warrior a small business, but also family ran. They do mat chats with the kids to discuss things like respect, kindness, anti-bullying etc, they host movies on the mat for community building for everyone. Great teachers and curriculum. I'm so glad I did my research and ended up here. I couldn't find a martial arts program for my three year old- everything offered around town was for 4-5 year olds. Shifu Holmes (may have misspelled this) is god sent. He offers the perfect balance of fun, discipline and respect. You can tell he genuinely loves the sport and is naturally a great leader with the kids. Warrior martial arts is a great space for kids to learn how to be better people and to learn the skills of Brazilian Jiujitsu. The coaches here obviously care a lot about their students and the fine art of what they teach. The studio is clean, the families are great, they offer awesome parents night out activities once a month or so, and they are always willing to help out with the kids and learning. Their adult classes are excellent as well. I began attending two weeks ago and I'm already learning my yellow belt kata. They make you fee welcome and supported no matter what your skill level. The Hannah we have before is a very smart and talented girl but she is always shy and not confident to show her talents and skills. She always doubt herself and needs help to cope and overcome with her weaknesses. But, everything changed when Hannah joined Warrior Martial Arts Academy last year around May. Her journey was never easy when she started, and almost wants to give up, but we are very thankful to Shun Shifu Adam, he loves to listen to us and learn more about Hannah. Things gets more interesting when he made Hannah as an assistant teacher or helper to his class. Hannah gained confidence to speak, share and teach other students the new skills that was being taught. Hannah joined the Sparring Team around November, again, she got so scared, but Hannah showed perseverance and willingness to learn and pick up the moves quickly. She joined her first Jiu Jitsu Tournament around April 2023, though unfortunately, she didn't won, but facing her fears, the crowd and her opponent didn't bring her down. That was the day we saw a better Hannah, she became better with coping and we've seen she got way better with facing her weaknesses, It challenged her and the more she showed more discipline and commitment to what she wants to do, her 2nd tournament just happened recently, Hannah didn't won a medal.... But, she won a match, it was a very special moment for Hannah, that moment where she proved to herself that she can do it! There's no words that we can use to express how thankful we are with Shun Shifu Adam and his team. Now, Hannah continues to inspire other kids by sharing her experience, Hannah believes that it's not about the medal, and that it's always about working hard, believing to yourself and most of all, to have fun! read more

I enrolled my son here almost over a month ago. We have noticed his interest in the class after the first few weeks.
