I've been coming to this gas station for years and I've never had a bad experience. Every employee…read morethat has worked there, whether its the cashier or the mechanic has always been polite, friendly, professional, basically exceeding guest expectations. I set my standards to a different level when it comes to gas stations, I need to hear Hello, Thank You and Bye at all times. And with today's gas crisis, there are hundreds of stations that would love to take your money. I've walked into places near me that can save me a couple cents on a dollar, but you don't forget the prick behind the counter chomping on his gum, on the phone or whatever else he has to do. Bottom line if I'm heading their way, I will drive on fumes to get there. Because the simple recognition that I received from them has made me a Lifer! I've recommended this place to friends and family's, and sure enough that place is there first choice. They also keep their property clean at all times. No matter how late you go, you feel safe because they are alert of what happens on that lot. Once in awhile they will make sure you get to your car safely. Easy in and out from the west side of the road. Plenty of room to navigate around the pumps too. As with most Firebirds, the convenience store attached is no big whoop. Just stick with gas here, but you can find the major brands of pop in a pinch. It's not terribly inviting but no frills is fine when I'm just filling up. This speedway location gets four stars because every single time I have gone here, which is pretty frequently, the cashiers are always super nice to me. Usually when you go to a gas station or anything of that sort, the cashiers sometimes have that "i hate my job" attitude. But not here, I really love that the workers seem to enjoy what they do, even if they don't it's very hard to tell!
