I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with my experience at this office, which I chose…read morespecifically because of its amazing reviews and my interest in trying CoolSculpting. I have never been to this office before and was a new customer. At no point during my initial consultation or booking was I informed that my down payment was non-refundable. This is a critical piece of information that should have been clearly communicated to me verbally before I ever put down over $2,000. Instead, I only discovered this after I called for a refund and was told it was on my consultation form without anyone flagging that clause to me. After the consultation and appointment booking, I decided not to move forward with the procedure and called to cancel. I asked directly how I would be refunded. Instead of getting an answer, I was told someone would call me back. That call never came, and I had to follow up myself the next day just to get any information. When I finally spoke with someone, I was told that my $2,000+ down payment is non-refundable, but that they would "make an exception" and refund half -- leaving the other half sitting on my account for future visits I never asked for and have no intention of using - let's remember I have NEVER been to this office or have used any of their services. Let me be clear: I am not doing this procedure. I don't want a credit. I want my money back. Being told I'm "not really losing money" because it's parked on an account for a service I no longer want is not a solution -- it's a way of avoiding a refund I'm rightfully owed. I came in based on strong reviews and left feeling like transparency was the last priority. Communication failures on your end -- not sharing refund policies upfront and failing to return a promised phone call -- should not result in me losing $1,000. This entire situation has left me with zero trust in this office, and I have no interest in ever returning and honestly have no idea how this practice has almost 5 stars on Google with their very shady practices.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Started seeing Frederick Dermatology in October 2024. The NP put…read moreon medication for hair-loss, and did not warn or advise me about the potential side effects( face/swelling+dark circles under eyes). I had a follow up Feb 2025, but missed the appointment due to the office NEVER sending me a reminder, but they made sure to charge me for a no show fee immediately. I was more upset about missing the appointment than about the late fee to be honest. I insisted they find me appointment because I had waited 3 months for this appointment and wasn't going to wait 3 more months. They booked me with another NP. When I saw the NP and explained what was happening, she seemed unconcerned and told me to just lower the dose. The side effects continued to get worse and worse but I didn't want to just stop taking the medication without consulting the medical provider 1st. I had a follow up end of June 2025. 2 weeks before the follow up, they called me to tell the NP will be on VACATION that day can't see anymore. And then, they tell me the next appointment available was end of August 2025. I was in disbelief, I had been struggling with extreme face swelling and fluid retention and wanted to wait 3 more months. I insisted they find me closer appointment. They did but I couldn't get leave for new date at all. I was stuck waiting till August 2025. The side effects were so bad, I couldn't even make it to August. I stopped taking the medication in July. When I finally saw the NP, I explained my issues, it was like talking to a wall. I've never felt more invisible in my life. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF, DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE. I wish I had looked up the reviews on Yelp and not Google. I could've saved my beautiful face, now I'm stuck with fluid retention in my neck and face. Also, the medication NEVER helped with the hair shedding.

Begged for an appointment for my 6 month old, and this was the only office in town who could fit us…read morein before September. When we arrived, no one was wearing masks behind the desk. We opted to wait outside with the baby until a room was available. When we were shown to a room, the staff member coming in with us was unmasked. I asked her if she was vaccinated for Covid, and she said no, it was her choice and she wasn't. I told her since no one in the office was wearing a mask, I needed someone treating him who was vaccinated for Covid, because he's only 6 months old and can't get vaccinated. She left and came back with a mask on, and said the staff doesn't have to tell me if they are vaccinated, but they will wear a mask while they are treating the baby. I initially said that was fine. But then she went on to tell me it was a healthy office, they are healthcare professionals and they know what they are doing... And that's when I decided to leave. It's incredibly negligent to have unvaccinated people unmasked in a medical office, treating a 6 month old. I literally cannot believe I'm even having to write this review. But I'm writing it as a warning to other patients considering going here. Don't assume because no one is masked up that they are all vaccinated. Ask questions and protect your health. If you aren't comfortable, leave. We certainly will never be treated here.

This is the letter I sent to Dr. Liotta's office…read more Dr. Liotta, Today's office visit was a very disappointing experience. First, I was in your waiting room 25 - 30 min. before I was seen. There were patients that came in after my appointment time (11 am) that were seen before me. Then I sat in the exam room for another 25 min. before you came in. While I was sitting there, I could hear you and the staff laughing and talking and digging into the lunch that had just been delivered (when I was sitting in the waiting room). During the exam, which lasted less than 2 minutes. You said I was complaining about red and itchy feet. I never said that to you and never claimed any red or itchiness. I came in for the toenail fungus and a rash on my ancle. Further you and your staff had no idea you had ordered a hepatic test and the test results were in. I had to point that out to you. So, you obviously had not looked at my chart. When you did look at the results, you saw them for less that 3 seconds and said everything was fine. After that I had to remind you about the rash on the ancle and wanted you to look at that. In short, your treatment is obviously "cookie cutter" medicine to you. You had not looked at my chart and could not be bothered to give more than a few seconds time to anything that I needed today. I will be contacting Dr. Hundermer and asking to be switched to a different dermatologist in the future. Sincerely, John
