If you're like me, you're looking for an alternative to Massage Envy because of how bad ME is. It's very difficult to get an appointment anytime in the near future, if at all, they jacked up their prices, their staff is horrific and good therapists are few and far between. I decided to try Elements and the staff are much nicer here, the month to month contract seems fairly straightforward and the therapists are good. However, what they don't tell you- you can buy the hour monthly membership but you can't actually book an hour long appointment. 3 times in just the first two weeks of membership, they've cancelled mine and my spouse's appointments because they don't allow hour slots except for once a day. Yet, they allow you to book the appointment to begin with. They just call you a day or two before you expect to get a massage and try to upsell you to a 90 minute. If you decline, the appointment gets cancelled. That's shady business practice. They blame it on their system but you know what, it's just a scam. Any business worth their salt will take the hit themselves if there is a system issue, not force the paying customer to deal with the negative consequence and repeated cancelled appointments. If the price was worth it, I would deal with the frustration but you're not receiving any benefit versus just going to any other regular therapist. At least with Massage Envy, you pay a little more than half of what Elements charges and as long as you book far ahead of time, you'll get massages. I'm bummed as I really wanted to use them regularly but it's not worth the headache.

I had the best experience today! I scheduled an appointment and was LATE (it's my birthday and I…read morecouldn't get out of work on tIme)!!! They still took me. I wanted a 30 minute foot massage ($30). We used a phone to translate which had me a little worried... The woman put a hot towel over my feet and ankles. After a bit the pampering began. I didn't tell her that I have a LOT of previously broken bones in my toes and a foot. What happened next was remarkable, memorable, extremely fantastic!! She hit pressure points that worked! She got between my toes without causing discomfort (this is RARE for me), she relaxed my calves, my arches feel like a million dollars, I feel like I could spend my birthday night dancing in heels!!! I am definitely coming back! This was a luxury massage at a chic price! Seriously, call 503.746.6762 and schedule. You'll leave feeling spoiled, relaxed, and super happy!

I am looking for a place to get monthly foot reflexology massage. First of all, the massage did…read morefeel good. But, I don't like paying for a service up front. I payed using my debit card, and there's a place to add a tip on receipt. I usually tip cash, so I put 0 for tip. Well like I said, the massage was good, but she kept talking to someone in the other room. This really detracted from the relaxing experience it should have been. Plus she kept leaving the room, at least 3 times. I thought maybe since I tipped 0 upfront, I didn't deserve a great experience. I read someone else's review where he tipped $20 upfront and got the same experience. Anyways, it cost $50 for an hour massage, I ended up giving her a $10 cash tip since that was the only cash I had on me. Needless to say, I am still on the hunt for a foot reflexology place!
