I payed using my debit card, and there's a place to add a tip on receipt. I usually tip cash, so I put 0 for tip. Well like I said, the massage was good, but she kept talking to someone in the other room. This really detracted from the relaxing experience it should have been. Plus she kept leaving the room, at least 3 times. I thought maybe since I tipped 0 upfront, I didn't deserve a great experience. I read someone else's review where he tipped $20 upfront and got the same experience. Anyways, it cost $50 for an hour massage, I ended up giving her a $10 cash tip since that was the only cash I had on me. Needless to say, I am still on the hunt for a foot reflexology place!

I wanted a 30 minute foot massage ($30). We used a phone to translate which had me a little worried... The woman put a hot towel over my feet and ankles. After a bit the pampering began. I didn't tell her that I have a LOT of previously broken bones in my toes and a foot. What happened next was remarkable, memorable, extremely fantastic!! She hit pressure points that worked! She got between my toes without causing discomfort (this is RARE for me), she relaxed my calves, my arches feel like a million dollars, I feel like I could spend my birthday night dancing in heels!!! I am definitely coming back! This was a luxury massage at a chic price! Seriously, call 503.746.6762 and schedule. You'll leave feeling spoiled, relaxed, and super happy!

One of the best massages I've ever had!…read more I'll admit, I was a little hesitant after reading some of the negative reviews about tipping and customer service, but since this place is so close to home, my husband and I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad we did! My massage was absolutely fabulous! She really took the time to work out the knots in my shoulders, communicated wonderfully, and made sure I was comfortable throughout. I wear an Oura Ring, which normally picks up on my stress levels, but during this massage it actually registered that I was napping, even though I was awake! That's how incredibly relaxed I was! My husband also loved his massage. He has some sciatic pain, and his therapist used a technique on his legs that he hasn't experienced with other massage therapists. He said it really helped relieve some of his discomfort. We both left feeling amazing! Our experience was nothing like the negative reviews we had read. And regarding the tipping complaints, we left what I would consider a normal, average tip, and both therapists were genuinely appreciative. There was absolutely no pressure or awkwardness. The service was wonderful, the massages were exceptional, and we will absolutely be back! Highly recommend giving this place a chance!

Stress and worries leave my body as soon as I step into the front door. And that's before I even start my massage! The ambiance and cozy vibes are immaculate; the plants and decorations create good Qi (energy) and I already know from the get go that my experience will be relaxing. And it was. I had a 60 Min Full Body Swedish Massage ($70 cash, $75 card). My masseuse did a wonderful job. I felt safe, relaxed, and well care for the whole time. Since I've come before I knew what to expect, but my masseuse still explained and checked in with me regarding her pressure. I appreciated her communication! It can be intimidating having to undress and get under a blanket (especially if it's your first time), but the staff here has always been respectful throughout the whole massage before AND after. Giving me time to undress & knocking on the door asking if it's ok to come in. Very respectful and kind! I've had 3 different ladies for each of my visits (I need to write their names down so I can give recognition!) but wow they all have magic hands! If it's your first time getting a massage just kindly let the staff know! They will help take care of you and walk you through it. Overall I highly recommend Oasis Massage to anyone, especially if you're wanting an affordable massage & to feel like you're in heaven ‍‍‍

I was…read morevery explicit with Lazette that this was important and she reassured me she had called my insurance and we were good to go. I went in twice and my husband went in twice. The massage itself was good, although she talked much of the time which made it hard to truly relax/enjoy. For some reason we didn't go back (maybe instincts) and about 6 months later we got a bill for my husband ($180 for 1) and I ($360 for 2). Only 1 of his 2 massages were billed. We discovered that our insurance was not accepted and freaked out looking at our huge bill. We called our insurance to see what happened and they reported to us that Lazette had indeed called to check and they told her they did not cover her as a provider. They even gave us the date and time on record she had called. And then she told us we were good to go??! We tried several times to call and after months of receiving bills, we decided to just pay it and wash our hands of the stress it was bringing us. Now, one year and several months later we received the bill for his other massage. OVER A YEAR LATER. What kind of business does this?! Also, who charges $180 for a massage? If you're charging that much, I would have gone to an actual spa with the services to match the price. Save yourself and avoid this place. I think she is a good massage therapist, but her business delivery is a nightmare and caused us more stress than multiple massages could take away.

There is a sign on the door stating someone will unlock it shortly if its locked. I proceeded to wait 20 min after my appointment was suppose to start. No one showed up and no one answered the phone. Very disappointed, if they needed to cancel they should have called or emailed me then I might have been able to get an appointment elsewhere. I very rarely get an opportunity to get a massage (or any time to myself) and this was supposed to be rare treat, instead I spent my "me" time standing in a hall. Maybe next mothers day I can get a massage but I sure won't be trying to make an appointment here.

I've been to a couple different Elements Massage (Lake Oswego, Tanasbourne) for MEDICAL MASSAGE,…read morewith focus on both legs and feet for lower peripheral neuropathy along with some lower back pain and muscle tension and cramping issues from a laminectomy at L3 as well. Out of every treatment option under the sun, massage therapy is the most useful. No drugs, PT or surgery even come close toward relief and recovery after over six years of dealing with my conditions. Sadly most insurance doesn't cover massage or has very limited visits per year so it gets expensive fast, even though my doctors would prescribe it perpetually for the medical benefits if I requested it. My latest visit at Tanasbourne in late April of 2024 was 90 minutes with Kat, she did a fantastic job, dug in deep with hard pressure as I prefer, light massage does nothing for severe neuropathy and preventing debilitating muscle cramping. Deep tissue is the way to go, on scale of 4-5 with 5 being hard pressure pain in a good way, she put in a solid 3-4. PROS: - Have always had great DEEP TISSUE massages every visit by a man or woman, therapists have been well qualified. - Every visit the massage therapist listened and focused on the areas requested (after years of severe neuropathy I know where to focus). - ALWAYS feel better after a deep, and sometimes painful massage, the kind where it hurts so good. - All professional, no feeling of being uncomfortable or pressured to tip. - Clean and modern facilities. - Mellow typical massage music. - Tables that raise and lower and are heated. - Can usually accommodate a quick same day schedule. - Most locations are easily accessible and disabled friendly. CONS: - No direct billing to insurance (some locations used to do this, but stopped), but can provide you with an invoice. - Does not provide a hot moist towel at end like many places do to wipe off any lingering lotion or oil, even though they have them and sometimes use them during your massage. Even less fancy places provide a dry towel. Nothing here, I guess you could use the massage table sheets. - Massage oil or lotion had a slight scent, nothing unpleasant or too strong, but noticeable. - Encourages tipping, even for medical massage (which shouldn't be required). ... While I don't mind tipping a little for Medical Massage, it is often deemed as necessary by medical professionals, just like Physical Therapy. Some massage therapist charge a higher rate for 'Medical Massage' and therefore make note that gratuity is not necessary as it's basically included in the rate. The benefits towards positive health with massage is far greater than the world, insurance or science might document, sort of like chiropractors, even though many insurance are starting to accept them now as legitimate practice. I mean, we don't tip chiropractors, PT, primary care doctors or surgeons?!? Some chiropractors have onsite massage, but my luck with finding a good deep tissue massage therapist through a chiropractor has yet to happen, probably because it's a lot of work and requires a lot of strength and stamina to dig in deep. Solution -- establishments need to pay their massage therapist a far better base rate, then tipping wouldn't be even be a question. My guess is that most chiropractors and massage studios don't pay their therapist a higher rate for 'Medical Massage' grade therapy, when they should ... The industry needs to change their mindset. SUMMARY: Elements seems to hire qualified massage therapists, no complaints there. Rates are on the higher side. Biggest downside is on the corporation as a whole being too lazy and cheap to bill insurance directly and not paying extra to their therapist for Medical Massage, and of course no towels for cleaning yourself up before exiting.

After the therapist talked to me and I was ready for the massage it was 10 minutes after the hour, but the massage ended 15 minutes early. Very disappointed.
