Really good coffee and the casserole is awesome. Quick service and lots of street parking and parking lot parking..

Came through here to grab a coffee to drink on my way home after spending the day in Hartselle. This coffeeshop occupies a surprisingly large space in the cute little downtown. They have lots of comfy indoor seating and a small patio as well. They have a fairly in-depth selection of typical coffeeshop food -- sandwiches, bagels, muffins, etc. They have a LOT of baked goods and dessert type offerings, and a large cooler with grab and go snacks and desserts, like pasta salad, juices and other cold drinks, and even cheesecake and strawberry pretzel salad. Service was adequate - seemed a bit in a hurry to complete my order. I noticed by the time I was done collecting a straw, some napkins, etc, the barista had rejoined her friends seated on some of the couches to chat. Still, she wasn't impolite and my order was prepared quickly and correctly, so not a huge deal. I ordered a smaller sized iced latte with both peanut butter and chocolate fudge flavorings. They have a massive list of flavor shots you can add to your lattes, which was fun! Didn't see any specialty drinks of their own creation but I figured you couldn't go wrong with a peanut butter cup type of deal, thus my selection. I wasn't disappointed! It was sweet and creamy and had the right amount of ice. Honestly maybe a little low on espresso flavor (perhaps a smidge too much milk?) but I was happy overall. I also got a cookie for dessert later that evening. It looked like one of those no-bake oatmeal chocolate cookies. I enjoyed that, too. Overall, I'd definitely return for another drink if and when I find myself in the area again. This seems to be some of the only game in town for coffee, but luckily it's a solid option! Will try some strawberry pretzel salad next time, too. :) read more

Over priced coffee that I'd a tad above a what you can make at home. If it wasn't for the atmosphere I think this place would close.

Relaxing atmosphere, superior coffee, and small town customer service. I loved the board where you can buy a drink for someone who comes in after you leave. Can't wait to visit again. read more

It's a neat local coffee shop. Unfortunately, the food quality has taken a steep nose dive. Why on Saturday morning am I handed an ice cold sausage ball to heat up myself in a microwave? Something seems to have changed with that sausage ball recipe. Also, the biscuits are really cheap quality. Why? read more

Stopped by for a coffee on a Saturday morning and was very pleased with the service and the quality of the coffee. I ordered a cafe latte and got a homemade oatmeal crème pie. The coffee was done perfectly and quick. I enjoyed the coffee in the dining area that was quiet and very clean. I will be back. read more

I thought this was a great local coffee shop. Their social media FB account has the goodies for specials. I got a dirty pumpkin spice chai and hubby got some concoction he asked for that was pretty good. I don't remember what it was but it had almond syrup in it. We also got a sausage ball - where have I been, I've never had one of these below. I'm going to have to make some at home now. We got a brown butter scone also and it was very dense like a brownie. There is a microwave to warm up your goodies. I wish I could have gotten some of the hot cocoa balls but I feared they would not survive my flight back. The barista working there was very nice and friendly. I have never visited Alabama before so seeing the Bible Belt in action was a little different for me, but not bad at all. I thought it was nice to have all of the religious touches around and they had a board out front to see if anyone had any requests (spiritual or not) to write down on the board. Lovely addition it seemed like to their downtown area. read more

In Hartselle for work and wanted a sandwich. Found this through other Yelp reviews. The chicken salad tasted just like my mom makes it! Grapes and nuts are what make it delicious! With the combo you get a cookie, a drink, and a bag a chips all for under $10, so that's a deal in itself. My coworker got a latte and she said it was very good! read more

Exceptional environment with the ability to sit quietly, read, work (free Wi-Fi) or visit with others. I would like to see more local makers for retail products or at least regional. Staff is quick and friendly. Like most places, as extra shots if you want a strong latte. read more

This is a must stop for some of the best coffee I have found. If ya love coffee, you'll appreciate this place.

Incredible espresso drinks, great atmosphere, Wi-Fi is good, and service is wonderful. There's a little bit of a stale smokey smell, so it's not something to hang out in for a long time, but other than that this place is wonderful! Located in a cute space that's being reclaimed. read more

Awesome coffee house!! Great service, relaxing environment and awesome coffee!! This would be my regular place if I were a local!

Great coffee shop! The coffee, service, and environment are wonderful. My only suggestion would be to have mugs available for those who would like to drink from one. read more

I adore this coffee shop. I stop in at least once a week and enjoy a latte or mocha. I've recently experienced some of their new lunch menu as well. The potato soup in a sour dough bread bowl is fantastic. The potatoes still had some body to them, rather than mush that you get some times from other restaurants. I've also had their chicken salad sandwich (on a croissant) - twice - and I have to say that I would like the recipe for it. It has just the right balance of creamy and texture - pieces of real chicken, nuts, grapes...delicious! The service is always warm and friendly as well. They have free wi-fi and PLENTY of outlets all along the wall for you to plug your devices into. No scrambling for the *one* table with an outlet like in many coffee shops. Parking is along the street out front or you can easily park across the street at the church and cross over. I'm sure the church wouldn't mind, since they own this coffee shop :) read more
