I discovered this urgent care nearly two years ago and it's truly top notch. They have always made time for emergency needs, have convenient online scheduling and even fit my dog in for an urgent echocardiogram same day. The team is exceptional - from veterinarians to the nursing care and front support team. The exam rooms are always spotless and prices are far more reasonable than ER hospitals. Their newest veterinarian - Dr. Lazar - is so thoughtful in her approach and has been able to address issues with my senior's cardiac care that even seasoned vets haven't caught. I'm really grateful to have this team as a resource and recommend them highly! read more

We received timely and excellent care here. All the staff were wonderful and Dr. Lazar is topnotch! We are so fortunate to have such a good urgent care facility nearby. read more

I took my 15 yr old cat there. My regular vet recommended that she needed to have a eye test. The vet we had was very nice and explained everything to us before they did anything to my cat.I highly recommend this vet office we left very happy. read more

Horrible, just called to have my bird seen today. Was just told the Dr had to leave in an hour. He would of had 40 minutes to see us and they turned us away!!! They do not even deserve a one star read more

Horrible experience, patients should be the priority not profit. I took my 4 year old cane corso there because her stomach was bloated and her gums were pale. They charged me almost $1,100.00 for some bloodwork, a point of care ultrasound which they did not show me the results of and some X-rays which were spotty at best because they did not sedate her at all in order to get a good x-ray. After paying nearly $1,100 they had no diagnosis and told me to take her to another animal hospital that could do a full ultrasound or ct scan. One they should have sent me to other animal hospital since they did not have the proper equipment to diagnose her in the first place. They also said that they were going to send over all the test results to the other hospital which they did not, they only sent the spotty X-rays so the other animal hospital did the same tests over again and I was charged for these things a second time and then some because they didn't do what they were supposed to do. I am completely disgusted and sick of vets/animal hospitals taking advantage of people in their most vulnerable state. I highly do not recommend this place and will never take either of my dogs here again. read more

So I took my one year-old Yorkie who weighs 5 lbs. 3 oz. because she was throwing up for several days. They didn't really come to a conclusion but ended up giving her antibiotic for what I have no clue and I don't even know what the other medicine was for. When I first went in there they weighed her on the scale. The scale was filthy. Most vets had that scale cleaned off every time and animal steps on it. The floors were dirty in the rooms and it cost me $175 for consultation $494 for an x-ray that I don't even think we needed so the total bill is $894 and technically they didn't do a darn thing. There was nothing wrong with her. I would never go to this place again, but it was kind of an emergency. My vet was in Plymouth next time I'll go to the one in Bussett Bay. read more

Thank goodness this place exists! Visiting from out of town I realized my dog was having problems with his ears and I desperately needed a same-day appointment. No vets had any availability for days, but one told me about Wareham Animal Hospital and they saw my dog within the hour. Office was clean, staff kind, competent and professional, and the vet saw us in better time than my usual vet back home. Yes, it was more expensive than my routine vet, but my dog's health is priceless. Thank you to the entire staff for helping us exactly when we needed it. read more

We were taken advantage of. While me and my wife were in disarray do to our beloved German Shepherd Zena's passing, one of the so called managers charged us a pretty large fee and misinformed us about what that fee entitled..Now it wasn't a misunderstanding like she says it was it was a bold face lie. A $420.00 charge was given to us by this manager and was told to my wife it was for cremation and that the facility that was handling this was going to call with further info. And maybe more fees. Well come to find out that $420.00 was not for the cremation it was for paper work that the Wareham Animal hospital needed to do for release of my dog to the next facility. That definitely was not explained to us at the time and if it was I would not of agreed to that insane charge. She told us originally that there would be a $210.00 cold storage fee for my dog to hold her until the company that was handling the cremation picked her up. So we agreed on that so we brought her to the hospital when we arrived at the Wareham Animal hospital they told us that one of us needed to go to the office before going to the back of the facility to drop my dog off. That is when that so called manager told my wife that they would wave the $210.00 cold storage fee and that it would be $420.00 after waiving said fee, proceeded to tell my wife that the $420.00 fee was for the cost of cremation and that the facility would contact us with more info. And maybe an additional charge. Now she is saying that we mis understood her and that was a fee for paper work to release my dog Zena to the facility that was taking care of the cremation. So now I'm out the $420.00 and have to pay the Final Gift facility another $320.00 for cremation. All in all the Wareham animal hospital would now be my very last choice on earth to bring any of my pets there. They are just all about money not the care and well being of the animals. I am proof of that with my dog Zena. To be honest I also think they had my poor dog way to long on antibiotics, pain medication and prednisone all at the same time fore way to long. And that's what I believe led to her passing. But thats a story for another day. read more

Wareham Animal Hospital - This is My precious Zena about a week before she passed - Veterinarians Near Me - Wareham, Massachusetts

I took my cat here and they diagnosed him with a thyroid condition and prescribed him medication with refills. When we needed more refills for the past year they had filled them. At no point when I picked up the pills did they tell me from now on to go to the cat's primary doctor for continued care. He is an indoor cat and doesn't have a regular doctor. I just went for another refill and was told they wouldn't fill it and I had to go to the primary doctor. We only have 3 days left of his medication, so I was obviously upset and they knew it. I didn't raise my voice, but said I would not be recommending them. I asked them to send me the cat's medical file since I now had to doctor shop. Anyone having to find a new doctor knows you don't get in right away. I made an appointment with a local vet but couldn't be seen for a few weeks. I called to see if I could get enough medication until my appointment and was told no. They repeated they are an Urgent Care. Now the cat will be off his medication for over a week. Hopefully there won't be any long term damage . So much for putting the animal first. read more
