Nice to see you back after two years. Unfortunately left with bad taste in my mouth, since the practice is no longer in my network. Billing staff failed to mention that on top of new fee changes prior to services being done. Imagine my surprise when instead of paying zero upon leaving I'm paying 100. On top of that both of my older children were seen weeks before me and billing staff never mentioned they both had balances as well. Honesty always best policy. Being upfront about changes and what you are going to charge a client is what needs to be happening, not surprising them with changes after services have been rendered. read more

Would give a 0 star if I could! I have never received worse care at a dentist office ever! I have been going to this dentist for years and this is so disappointing. They changed all of the staff and they are beyond rude. I had an appointment for 6 months then they called a couple days before to change my appointment time. I had it at 4pm because I get off work at 3:30pm. They said they stop doing cleanings at 3pm and wanted to change it to 8:30am. You would think they would have given me more than a few days notice when I had this appointment for months. I go into work at 7:30am so that was impossible. Then I changed the appointment to spring break a few weeks after since I was off work. They called me a day before my appointment and asked if I could come in 30 minutes prior to do X-rays and other things. I could not I had a meeting this morning and I was already close on time. Went in this morning with my son like I always do because I am a single mom. And the lady that went to take me back told me he wasn't allowed back and that he could sit up front by himself. That already made me and my son uncomfortable. He didn't want to sit out in the waiting room alone. Then once I get back they had a million questions to ask. After that she told me she wasn't even going to be able to get to my cleaning because they had to do the X-rays and whatever else. And she told me I couldn't do a cleaning without them. This was the only time I was able to come in and they wouldn't do the cleaning which was the whole reason I was there. I walked out before they even did the service extremely upset with the way this staff acted towards me. BEYOND RUDE I WILL NOT RETURN!! read more

I was so impressed with this dentist. I want here for a second opinion from a different dentist that I had a feeling was trying to just get money out of me. He ended up agreeing with me and dismissing my dental needs but the other dentist said that I had to get immediately. The office staff was so kind they all greeted me and even gave me a water and a Chapstick when I left. They also didn't even charge me for my visit because I was in an out in just a few minutes. The most friendly and cleanest office I have ever been to. I was courteously greeted when I walked in the door by both ladies in the front. Felt very welcoming I was there for a cleaning and had the most compressive exam and cleaning that included explaining everything she was doing and why. Looking at the X-rays and and photos (from a cool camera pencil) and explaining what is what. Great chair side manner. The doctor came in to discuss finding and wrap up. The Doctor Spoke with confidence and with facts by referencing the X-rays and photos. Then presented a course of treatment. No high pressure or scare tactics - facts, just the facts. My visit concluded with being scheduled for a follow up - a subsequent 6 mo cleaning. On my way out the staff made it a point to thank me and wish me a good day by name. This office has got things going on with high tech tools and crack staff. Highly recommended. read more

Who could ever think that going to the dentist would be enjoyable? From the moment that I walked into the office, and was greeted by name (even though it was my first visit), to being taken back right away, the start of my wonderful experience at Wanlass had begun. The x-rays & examination we're both thorough and painless and all of my questions, idiosyncrasies, and fears were answered and put to rest, but the highlight of the visit was the cleaning! My hygienist, Jennifer, was awesome! She continually checked in with me, made sure I was ok, and explained everything she was about to do. I did not have a good experience here. I went in to have composite on one tooth with Michael Wanlass. He said I had enamel erosion and would need 8 crowns on the upper front teeth and that my bite was eroded from grinding. They gave me a treatment plan with all the teeth itemized just to open the bite totaling $1200.00. I had the work done but when I got home I realized he only did 6 teeth and not the 8 on the plan. I called the office and asked for reimbursement for the 2 teeth that were not treated and they said no, that was the price to "open the bite". Wanlass said the 2 left untreated would "erupt" in about 8 months. I got a 2nd opinion and that dentist said that would be a "far stretch" for them to drop a 1/4 inch. When I mentioned seeing another dentist I was appalled when the office manager at Wanlass' refused to refund for the teeth not treated but said Wanlass would only refund if I came in and he took off the composites on the work he already did. This is not ethical! Also his name is on a discount dental plan at newdentalchoice.com but his office said he was no longer taking that plan and they would not honor it for me, even though his name is still on there as a provider. This is BAD BUSINESS!!! read more

This is the best dental office! I found this place because I won a raffle at work for teeth whitening and boy am I the happiest gal to have come here. I had an appointment this morning at 7am, bright and early. I arrived about 5 mins late but Mr. Matt emailed all the documents over and I had them all filled out which saved us plenty of time! Super efficient because i had to get to work. As soon as I came in, the office was beautifully decorated for Christmas which i absolutely loved! The front office staff, both Carollyn & Sue had matching Christmas outfits... LOVED again. Everyone was very nice and welcoming even though it was terribly early. I barely sat down before I was greeted by their amazing hygienist Jennifer who once again, I LOVED! She was very thorough and educational. She took all my x-rays and went over my oral hygiene making me very comfortable. She kept me informed of things she noticed and would let Dr know to observe these areas just to be safe. They were areas I've already been made aware of previously so I was expecting such findings which actually relieved me in some weird way. She confirmed what I already knew! What an angel that Jenn. She did my cleaning completely painless, not a smudge of plaque left behind! Soon after, Dr. Peterson did an exam. He explained the areas in question will just be watched for now and at the next appointment we will continue to monitor. Once again he was very thorough, very pleasant. I asked questions about some other things in question and he was very knowledgeable. At check out I was able to schedule my next appointment to pick up my bleaching trays. Sue was wonderful at scheduling my next appointment, she squeezed me in this week to come back & Carollyn was hilarious talking about all of the holiday craziness we're going through. Over all I had a wonderful experience and would recommend this dental office to everyone! I was supposed to come back in 6 months but i requested a 3 month cleaning bc it was such a great experience.
