I sensed that she wasn't happy about being responsible for the animal. l'd give this "doctor" a neg.10 if it were an option! He ignored serious symptoms my partner has been having. Some VERY serious symptoms in the past 3 months. Complaints of extremely low energy, weakness and pain in arms, loss of dexterity in right hand, elbows shoulders, lower spine, right side, legs, frequent (every 2 hours) urination, hearing loss, were all ignored even when I pointed out that many of these symptoms are associated with some serious diseases! For several years he has had severe subcutaneous hemorrhaging and bruising all along his forearms from the slightest impact. Markings so black, blue,and purple, that at first glance look like Rorschach tattoos and don't go away! My partner sees Koo 3-4x/year for routine health checks. How could he have missed the bruising on his arms? Koo's response was to prescribe prednisone for inflammation. When I asked about referral for further evaluation i.e. MRI, kidney function test? other tests? even asked if PT could help with weakness arms. legs, etc. Koo wrote "PT" on a prescription pad! Not even a referral for bloodwork! The response was a smile, a comment that I am a "tough lady" aka difficult! On July 14, 2025, my partner collapsed and was rushed to Montefiore Nyack Hospital, where he remained for 11 days having been diagnosed with multiple myeloma!! Hallmark sign: elevated Ca in the blood!~ And that bruising/subcutaneous hemorrhaging, btw, is a symptom of multiple myeloma as well! Koo missed all the hallmarks! And he never followed up with a phone call to see how his patient of 20+ years was feeling! My partner has had radiation therapy, is now in a nursing rehab facility. He is extremely weak and will be receiving chemotherapy weekly for at least a year if not longer. I can't help but think that symptoms didn'thave to get this severe. Had this been picked up a year or two ago or even a few months ago, he wouldn't have gotten as weak and as ill as he is now! I wouldn't recommend this "doctor" to anyone-not even for a common cold!

This woman in my dining room struggled with the ear camera, a very simple and standard tool never getting a proper view of my ear canal while the clinician on the phone commented awkwardly. When my throat was checked, the clinician said something like, "yo, your throat is like crazy red," which felt unprofessional. Even more concerning, the woman in my home asked very personal questions, including about unprotected sex, completely unrelated to my cold/COVID symptoms. I've NEVER been asked questions like that in urgent care. It felt like an unnecessary data grab rather than a focused medical visit. You can and should decline to answer irrelevant questions, even though you may feel pressured or rude saying no, especially when you're sick and vulnerable. My critique is about the service, not the price though I want others to know about that too: They billed my insurance ~$500 and I paid $50 for this low-value, poorly executed service. It felt like the company hires incompetent staff and charges high prices, taking advantage of patients in a vulnerable situation. I regretted letting them in... It felt low-budget and completely unprofessional... nothing like the 'DocGo On-Demand' doctor house call the name makes you expect. Do not use this service. Save your money and your time. Go in person to see an actual doctor, a trained professional with proper equipment, any Urgent Care or even do telemedicine directly with an actual doctor. That would be far better than this poorly executed telemedicine setup. Never again!
