The room was a good size, decorated to a lovely modern standard. There was a flat screen TV and black out curtains, plus the WiFi was (gasp!) reliable enough to stream video and make video calls. The staff were friendly and courteous and I had a really quiet stay with no disturbances. The hotel is located around 15 mins walk from Tooting Tube and High St, and about 30 mins (or a 5 min Uber) from South Wimbledon. My only minor grumble is that without breakfast provided, the nearest Cafe is 15 mins away. There is a M&S shop on the hospital site you can grab groceries from though. Overall, given the location, the relaxing stay and the low price - I consider this a bargain!

There was no fridge which you will miss if it's summer and you want to keep water cold. There was no microwave which you might not miss either. It is 220V and my hair straightener stopped working. It is only 5 miles from the city however the trains are EASY to take. I would never ever take the trains in NYC but here I took the train every day with no issues. IF you get back late then you're better off taking an Uber since the walk from Wandsworth Town Train line to the hotel is lonely and sketchy. I saved a lot by staying here, waking up early and taking the train to the City but I took an Uber from Clapham Junction back to this hotel to be safe. They offer a pretty nice breakfast. I would stay here again.

No amenities in the room other than a shower cap. Hallways leading to our room had torn carpet, and housekeeping left garbage bags on the floor in a corners. They had a shuttle service which was helpful and always available. The village is close as well and their property is very pretty with a garden outside and nearby park. Location is great but honestly going back to this hotel after a day at Wimbledon was depressing. Everyone with our tour felt the same way and was very disappointed with this hotel. If I had to do it over again I would stay in Central London and take the underground to the All England Tennis Club.
