If they bother to get back to you about any concern you might have about the facilities they will be completely inflexible and unhelpful. They know if you leave they have plenty of other users with little to no other choices. The recent refurbishment has been badly managed with a much smaller choice of equipment spread over 4 floors in 6 different spaces! Even at off-peak times there are queues for equipment because much of it does not even work. Complaints fall on deaf ears and management will not even entertain reducing fees due to the reduction in services. Their only suggestion they can offer is to cancel! They really do not care about the community or their members despite the headlines on their website.

You don't worry about verrucas and kids weeing in the pool here, unlike at North London's other, older and therefore grimier public pools. I like to come early on a Saturday morning (provided I haven't been out too heavily the night before) as it's usually pretty quiet and you can get a good pace in the fast lane without hitting too many people's heels. The changing rooms are also big and clean although my favourite thing about the pool is that it's near enough to my house that I can stroll home for a post-swim shower.

I mostly used the swimming pool and hire the badminton courts a few times. To hire the courts, it's quite cheap, it might of changed now but it was around a tenner between two people for 2 hours. Not bad... It's usually quite quiet on a Sunday afternoon. The swimming pool is a really good size. However, the pool gets really busy with Mums and babies in the afternoon so I'd suggest going in the morning or the evening. I liked this place. It's got a nice family feel but isn't always hugely busy which is a nice change as most London gyms can be pretty heaving more of the time. A nice, cheap alternative to the bigger, corporate gyms...

Very irresponsible management team. The swimming pool water is murky and because it's very popular with young children, you'd find pieces left behind to swim through. Half shower's locks broken, holes in partitioning walls. I tolerated it for a while just because I live nearby, now moved to a different leisure centre, different company, much happier, never stepped in Latchmere centre (or any DC centre) ever again.

Well for 2 years I spent £75 (that was discounted) a month going to Virgin and did I get anything extra that the good ol' leisure centre did not provide? urmmm yes 1 thing a big expense I could do with out and contract to go with it! Putney centre has everything you need, of course like anywhere it depends on the time and day of the week if you prefer it quiet. good free and machine weight equipment, swimming lanes, diving boards, sauna, hot tub, steam rooms and a fraction of the price. I've reverted back to the good old faithful!

There is a pool with aerobics classes, senior classes. For the kids they have squad training, diving lessons, oddly they dont always close the diving boards to the public when the lessons are on which to me is a big negative when there could be grown men standing behind kids waiting to have their turn and we pay for this they dont. There is a kindy (thankyou) and parents can take the toddlers any morning through the week to tumble time. There is a cafe, sometimes a book sale, function rooms even. Much more. The staff are friendly but a little laid back sometimes. parking yes, for cars and bikes. Ive even seen a sign for threading and waxing.
