DON'T FART TOO LOUD!!…read more It was Saturday night of Labor Day weekend, around 9:00 in the evening, and we were a group of 50 year old women having a normal conversation in the pool. We were not loud, and we were not playing any music. The neighbors next door to the right (1966) were the source of the issue. They deliberately came outside to record us, listening in on a private conversation and trying to turn it into something it wasn't. Despite the fact that we were simply talking, we were recorded at the property line, and no sound measurement was ever taken. When we tried to discuss the issue calmly, an employee called the police on us stating "non compliance" and even her own coworker questioned why she did that as it was completely unnecessary. The police were called over a quiet poolside conversation at 9:00 on a Saturday night of a holiday weekend. On top of it all, we were hit with a $500 fine for talking in the pool. What made it worse is that we were never given any warning. No one ever came to us and said keep it down, or asked us to move inside, or gave us any chance to adjust. Even after the neighbor complained, which is what started all of this, they skipped straight to putting us out. No conversation, no courtesy, nothing. They just removed us. That was callous, and it showed they were not interested in resolving anything, only in penalizing us. The whole thing felt less like a real noise issue and more like a setup. It is hard not to wonder whether this is part of how they operate: welcome guests in, watch for any excuse, and hit them with fines to pull in extra money on top of the booking. The speed and eagerness to record us, penalize us, and call the police over nothing left us feeling like the fine was the point all along, not our behavior.

We came with a big group of families and stayed in several of the different casitas throughout the property, which was honestly perfect. We basically had our own little ranch getaway! Each casita had separate bedrooms, a full kitchen and living room, so there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and feel comfortable. The kids absolutely LOVED all the animals! There are horses, donkeys, goats, rabbits and more, and guests can interact with, pet and sometimes even ride the animals. One morning, the ranch manager took all of our kids around to visit the animals and gave each of them food and carrots to feed them. They had the best time and thought it was the coolest thing! The pool area was probably one of my favorite parts of the property. The pool was the perfect temperature and the setting is gorgeous -- there's a huge natural boulder right alongside it and the mountains are basically your backdrop. There are cabanas for lounging and a long shaded table where our whole group could sit together and eat meals. It was such a pretty, relaxing spot. And then there's the SALOON! Such a fun touch and definitely a hit with our group. It has western-style saloon doors, a bar area, an air-conditioned game room with pool tables, and picnic tables outside. We spent a lot of time hanging out there. There's also a fire pit by the main ranch house where the kids made s'mores at night, which was the perfect way to end the day. This is such a great place for families or groups traveling together who want something different from the typical Palm Springs hotel experience. You really feel like you've escaped to a little mountain/cowboy ranch, while still being close enough to downtown to go out to dinner, shop, or explore. This ruined our entire trip. No support, no accountability, just pressure and intimidation. Would NOT recommend to anyone. Again, this cleaning was order by open air Open air did not send Anyone from the team to come on sight to oversee the damages & cleaning, Open air Instead instructed me to handle and have cleaned whatever I felt like needed to be cleaned. Then open air reimbursed themselves!!!!!! This is only one example of the lack of follow up and oversight which would be expected from the management company.
