The Gold Standard! My Studio for Over Two Decades…read more I have been coming to TarraDean Studio for over 20 years, and I happily drive 50 minutes each way every single month for the experience! That should tell you everything you need to know about how phenomenal this salon is. Tarra Dean herself is an absolutely excellent stylist and a true master of her craft. The quality of her work is consistently superb. However, what makes this studio truly stand out is the entire team. Though I mainly see Tarra, I've had services with others and every single stylist is fantastic, professional, and highly skilled. Beyond the excellent services, the atmosphere is simply fun and welcoming. The people are genuinely great, the service is top-notch, and they make every visit feel like a special, amazing experience. If you are looking for a studio with unparalleled consistency, incredible talent, and a guaranteed good time, look no further. This place is worth the drive, worth the time, and worth every penny. Thank you to the entire team at TarraDean Studio!

I was looking for a facial in Wareham. Yes, I'm lazy & didn't want to drive that far!…read more It was easy to get & set up the appointment. The location was very nice. Unfortunately, a lot of other skincare businesses in Wareham are in older buildings that just aren't as nice as Bonita Skin spa. I had the new client facial & it was very thorough. From the facial masque, steam, cleaning out pores & moisturizing, my face looked & felt great. Justina also included a shoulder, head & arm massage, so the entire experience was very relaxing. Justina was knowledgeable, courteous, and sweet. I will be making another appointment when I return to Massachusetts. This was the best facial in the Wareham area I've had. I highly recommend her.

New Years Eve 2014. 9 sessions later, and not only has she done a terrific job with zapping out most of my facial hair (i started very hairy, srsly), but she's really someone I'd be proud to call a friend. She's just so charming and funny. She creates an amazingly relaxing scene, causing for a much less painful and stressful experience. And, in my case, she was so, so helpful and reassuring when I needed to disclose a piece of rather personal info to her before moving forward. Total pro about it. Total cool chick. She's now located inside Primary Walk-In center on Warren Ave in East Providence. Very convenient from 195 and plenty of parking. The front desk staff is equally cool and welcoming, and even a comfy waiting area with TV and a view out to the street. Scenic enough ;) Ultimately the results have been better than I ever hoped for. I will have at least a few more sessions on my face with her, but by now it's mostly finishing up a process I thought would take years. You'll know exactly what to expect because she explains everything in such human terms. The pain of the laser isn't so bad (she's got those squishy stress balls, yeah they help), she's quick, makes sure you're lotioned up to ease the soreness afterwards (at least for face treatments), and makes paying and scheduling effortless. And always timely with appointment times and reliable. I will absolutely make her my first choice if/when I need other body areas lasered. I totally trust her. Would laser with her again. 10/10.

One touch up with Tanya and I've lasted weeks without needing to shave. Ill continue going to her every 6 months to maintain results. Definitely recommend her!

However... it's now the end of my '1 month unlimited package' and I was getting cheated out of 5 minutes of tanning every time I had the girl who wasn't Sophie :( I noticed how one girl set 'full time' at 20 mins and how the other women set full time at only 15 minutes. My stylist however didn't speak even 1 word to me. I kid you not. She looked mad the entire time. I asked her her name and she told me, (although I have since forgotten). She didn't ask what we were doing with my hair. I had to ask her if she wanted to see a pic of what I wanted, she said yes (1 word answers only). Whenever she was done with a portion she walked to the manicure station to chit chat with the customers there. I felt the other customers saw and felt this horrible vibe and when I sat in the wash chair they were chatting me up and showing me pics on their phones and being overly social. This is a Spanish speaking establishment and although I am not fluent, I am learning Spanish and would have loved a local place to frequent. I will never go back there, I left looking ok but feeling horrible.
