The restaurant serves classic German and modern German dishes. They have a different special every evening all served in a comfy cozy atmosphere. The tables are classic string wood with benches, booths, and comfy chairs. Christine is a great hostest / waitress / bartender (beer and wine and limited aperitif) who may even be cooking back in the kitchen. I had a good Wiezen beer and I ordered the special which was a Feldsalat, Turkey Rolls with mashed potatoes and a homemade turkey gravy. The Feldsalat had bacon strip crumbles, bacon vinaigrette dressing and homemade croutons that were straight from the oven and still hot. So good! The turkey roll was moist and delicious and the gravy top it all off. A great meal and I will definitely be back!

The rooms are a pretty decent size some had kitchens and some do not. My advice get the room without the kitchen because the restaurant downstairs is amazing and you will never cook a thing. The rooms with the kitchen seem to be a little smaller than the rooms without the kitchen but they are still nice. This hotel is located not even two minutes from the army base. The restaurant!!! Omg so amazing. The food was great, I had about every salad on the menu and all are fantastic. The rump steak is a must at least once. The smokie salad was my ultimate favorite. Now, the food takes a while to come after ordered because everything is cooked fresh. And I must say it is worth the wait. The ambience is just perfect. There are usually always guest here at the restaurant but you usually can always find a seat somewhere. The lunch menu is good as well. There breakfast is a traditional continental breakfast but even the breakfast is awesome. The staff of so amazing I got to know everyone there because of the length of time I stayed and if I'm back I would definitely stay again. They have all the typical items curry, jerk, oxtail etc. I decided to go with the oxtail with white rice. It was amazing. There was a decent amount of meat & plenty of sauce to complement it & have with the rice. I also had a piece of their rum cake. Unfortunately I ate it before I could capture it but it was very moist & you could definitely taste the rum in it. My next trip to Germany will definitely include a stop here.
