What a pleasure to take a chance and get a seat at this lovely restaurant. Normally I cannot resist a great schnitzel, however the rinderfilet on the menu seemed to stand out. It can be hit or miss with a good rinderfilet in Germany, but given the rest of the dishes coming out to the full house, I gave my order and waited. And the wait was well worth it. One of the best rinderfilets I have had in Germany in a while. The bratkartoffeln was also excellent as well as the light herb puree' sauce over the filet. This is a must try in Grafenwöhr. The food is Bavarian style with a seasonal specialty menu. We had two specialty items , goose and crispy pork. The dishes are savory, great textures and delicious. For non-German speakers the menu is also in English. We had two entrees a wine and a beer for about 40 Euro. The ambiance in the restaurant is subtle and classy. Ok, so I have so many great things to say about this place. I stayed at the hotel for about a month and it was great they service your room daily. The rooms are a pretty decent size some had kitchens and some do not. My advice get the room without the kitchen because the restaurant downstairs is amazing and you will never cook a thing. The rooms with the kitchen seem to be a little smaller than the rooms without the kitchen but they are still nice. This hotel is located not even two minutes from the army base. The restaurant!!! Omg so amazing. The food was great, I had about every salad on the menu and all are fantastic. The rump steak is a must at least once. The smokie salad was my ultimate favorite. Now, the food takes a while to come after ordered because everything is cooked fresh. And I must say it is worth the wait. The ambience is just perfect. There are usually always guest here at the restaurant but you usually can always find a seat somewhere. The lunch menu is good as well. There breakfast is a traditional continental breakfast but even the breakfast is awesome. The staff of so amazing I got to know everyone there because of the length of time I stayed and if I'm back I would definitely stay again. I have to agree with fellow posters- this place is delicious! My husband and I came here last Sunday for lunch, and we were not disappointed! What a delight. Unfortunately, for review purposes, we ordered the exact same meal! The horseradish schnitzel, with asparagus soup as our appetizer (let's just put it out there that it was completely unnecessary given the portions, but SO delicious I had zero regrets!). The asparagus soup was served first. It was perfectly creamy, without being heavy. A lovely spring soup. I will be attempting to replicate it. The schnitzel came with skillet fried potatoes, and a side of cranberry sauce. All were perfect. This has to be one of the best schnitzels I've had. It was perfectly breaded and fried, with the honey/Dijon mustard-horseradish mixture inside. Very good. Possibly too much of the sauce inside, but not nearly enough to even worry about it. The cranberry sauce was a fantastic condiment for the whole plate. We both cleaned our plates. Oh and the cappuccino was wonderful. Give it a try! Service was decent, considering there was only one waitress. We will definitely be going back.. I need to try these salads everyone raves about! read more

This review is for the restaurant. I enjoyed their outside seating that lets you admire the flower display in the windows. Big umbrellas keep out the rain effectively. The English menu is limited but the food has been excellent both times I have been here. Service was good and the prices are reasonable. read more

Love this restaurant. The service was really good and the food came out normal time for being in Germany. The portions were huge, which is awesome!!! The server was nice and spoken very good English, that is a major plus. I had the sparglecreamsuppe which was amazing good and then Bohm schnitzel that had this amazing green lettuce with cream on the said... I wish they had venison on the meal for lunch but I think that's just a dinner item... either way highly recommend this place. It's quite and just a perfect place to hang out. read more

I am so excited to write this review! This place is unbelievably delicious. I went with a couple friends and we all ordered something different and each sampled each other's meals. I got a cappuccino and a shot of Baileys to start. Followed by the Big Red One (Tomatoes, fresh mozzarella and basil). It rivaled the several I had in Italy. I also had the salmon. It was expertly cooked with a light lemony cream sauce. My friends had the French onion soup and the soup with liver. Both delicious. They also got the steak with pepper sauce and the schnitzel. I don't know which I liked the best. For dessert we got the apple strudel with ice cream and the ice cream with pumpkin seeds. The ice cream is homemade and very light. As Americans eating our first German meal, the food far exceeded our expectations. We are definitely going back and it just may be tomorrow for dinner again. read more

We were so pleased with our experience. Service was great! The server and hostess spoke very good English so we didn't need to butcher the German language. Our food was excellent, and I hate that I only snapped one picture. We ordered the rump steak with herb butter, a side smokie salad, pork with mustard cream sauce, Vienna schnitzel, and the stuffed schnitzel. Everything was very good! The smokie salad is a must! Very soft, smoky chicken with perfect vinaigrette. The pork was also very soft, and seasoned well, and the mustard cream sauce was delicious. The steak was ordered medium, and could've been cooked maybe a minute less, but it was seasoned well and the herb butter brought it to another level. I will come back to try the other salads and entrées. Wish we were here longer. Thankfully, it's a short 8 min drive from the Army lodge. We brought our 11, 2, and 11 month old, and sat outside. The Bohm has become my most favorite place to eat while traveling in Eschenbach. The food and service are great. Classic Bavarian menu, some unique spins on traditional dishes with amazing flavor. There's an inn there as well and I may try that as well. Another person there told me the breakfast is excellent too. read more

We ate at Hotel Bohm while visiting our kids and granchildren who are stationed at Grafenwoehr. The food, all of it, was wonderful. I was raised on Liver Dumpling Soup (Liberknodel Suppe) and the Hotel's soup was simply wonderful. The Big Red Salad is worth a trip to the hotel alone. The Schnitzel is amazing, the dumplings are excellent, BUT. And I emphasize the but. Do not leave here without ordering the Apfel Strudel with Ice Cream. Do not offer to share your dessert. Be very selfish and make them get their own dessert. One bite shows you why. It is THE best strudel you will ever eat in your life. My husband raved and raved about his dinner the first night. We both returned the second night (my first time there) and I found the salads good but not outstanding (big tomato and a side salad). My ravioli was good, but not outstanding. It had these weird red crunchy things and a chicken based sauce (almost like a heavy soup). He didn't not care for his pork/sauerkraut choice on the second visit. The apple strudel was okay, until we got to the inside, where the dough was undercooked and still somewhat raw.
