Asparagus soup. Lovely is the best way to describe it. Creamy but still light and satisfying.

I have to agree with fellow posters- this place is delicious! My husband and I came here last Sunday for lunch, and we were not disappointed! What a delight. Unfortunately, for review purposes, we ordered the exact same meal! The horseradish schnitzel, with asparagus soup as our appetizer (let's just put it out there that it was completely unnecessary given the portions, but SO delicious I had zero regrets!). The asparagus soup was served first. It was perfectly creamy, without being heavy. A lovely spring soup. I will be attempting to replicate it. The schnitzel came with skillet fried potatoes, and a side of cranberry sauce. All were perfect. This has to be one of the best schnitzels I've had. It was perfectly breaded and fried, with the honey/Dijon mustard-horseradish mixture inside. Very good. Possibly too much of the sauce inside, but not nearly enough to even worry about it. The cranberry sauce was a fantastic condiment for the whole plate. We both cleaned our plates. Oh and the cappuccino was wonderful. Give it a try! Service was decent, considering there was only one waitress. We will definitely be going back.. I need to try these salads everyone raves about!

Pumpkin soup... best I've ever had!

I love eating here -- the food is delicious and I know I must try more on their menu. The space is so pleasant. And the service is really good. I've only been for lunch so far and if I could come here more often, I would. Check out the photos for the amazing pumpkin soup that I swear is the best I've ever had.

Great ambiance and friendly staff. Customer service is superb! The best schnitzel stuffed with bratwurst and hefeweizen combo. Reasonably priced so definitely a place for a great meal and drinks too!

This review is for the restaurant. I enjoyed their outside seating that lets you admire the flower display in the windows. Big umbrellas keep out the rain effectively. The English menu is limited but the food has been excellent both times I have been here. Service was good and the prices are reasonable.

Love this restaurant. The service was really good and the food came out normal time for being in Germany. The portions were huge, which is awesome!!! The server was nice and spoken very good English, that is a major plus. I had the sparglecreamsuppe which was amazing good and then Bohm schnitzel that had this amazing green lettuce with cream on the said... I wish they had venison on the meal for lunch but I think that's just a dinner item... either way highly recommend this place. It's quite and just a perfect place to hang out.

I am so excited to write this review! This place is unbelievably delicious. I went with a couple friends and we all ordered something different and each sampled each other's meals. I got a cappuccino and a shot of Baileys to start. Followed by the Big Red One (Tomatoes, fresh mozzarella and basil). It rivaled the several I had in Italy. I also had the salmon. It was expertly cooked with a light lemony cream sauce. My friends had the French onion soup and the soup with liver. Both delicious. They also got the steak with pepper sauce and the schnitzel. I don't know which I liked the best. For dessert we got the apple strudel with ice cream and the ice cream with pumpkin seeds. The ice cream is homemade and very light. As Americans eating our first German meal, the food far exceeded our expectations. We are definitely going back and it just may be tomorrow for dinner again.

WAM No1 - The menu difficult to take a picture of (I.e., I was being lazy), but the menu is on the website as well.

My Oberpfälzerhasi brought me here for dinner this evening, and what a nice evening we had…read more First, we were greeted warmly by the owner, Wolfgang, the creative genius behind WAM. In almost all of my interactions with German restaurateurs, it's implicit that we will be Deutschsprechening, but the owner seamlessly switched between Oberpfälzer and English when speaking to my husband and me. It wasn't necessary, but he certainly made me feel incredibly welcomed. After being warmly greeted, we found a table. Talk about a beautifully appointed restaurant that, despite its clean and modern orientation, retains the rustic ambiance of Bavaria. The brasserie faces a beautiful bar. Fun fact: the interior floor-to-ceiling window gives patrons a unique and stunning view into the neighboring Mini Cooper Dealership, which houses an über vintage, Austin Powers-era Mini (Union Jack paint job not included). Viel Atmosphäre! The owner quickly took our drink and food orders, and he effortlessly managed the other patrons sitting throughout the restaurant. And the menus are super creative -- they are unlike any other menu I've ever seen, and they are printed in both English and Deutsch. We waited a bit to receive our entrées, but this is very customary in German restaurants in general. In a restaurant that boasts fresh, hausgemacht dishes, I would be skeptical if the food had been served in a New York minute. For my fellow Americans, enjoy the time that you get with your company. And if your company sucks, there's always good Weizen. Prost! Our dishes were very good. The Schatzi ordered the pork loin with mushrooms and jus; he cleaned his plate. I ordered the large mixed salad with steak. It was so big it should come with a warning! The salad and steak were really good, but I really loved the house made dressing. It tasted like horseradish. I couldn't get enough of it. I also eye-hustled several of the other dishes that our fellow patrons were eating. The burgers looked amazing AF. The quality and quantity of food was well worth the wait in this really cool restaurant, and the service was above and beyond. I highly recommend WAM-No1 for both the discerning German and American palate; there really is something for everybody here.
