Bought a 2019 equinox ... paid in full from Walter Jackson Chevrolet Ringgold Georgia. This dealership has zero interest in maintaining your investment. I took my equinox in for a vibration in the front right wheel. Tom Rector had no problem letting me know (on a recorded line ... if he wants to disputed that )on a Friday he heard the noise and the mechanic heard the noise in the front right wheel of my 16,000 miles brand new 2019 equinox under it's unlimited bumper to bumper and blah blah blah bullshit...Come Monday Mr. Bob whatever his last name is....decided that he would get in the vehicle with a couple of salesmen and go around the loop that they run their test drives on...there in a flash of light miraculously there was nothing to be heard wrong with my vehicle and nothing had been done to my vehicle...I had requested an oil change...the recall turbo clip check because it was vibrating hard again...the alignment checked. a week after my car Had been there and I was out over $400 in car rentals to have a vehicle because I have a family and this is my only car. they told me my car was done but they hadn't did the oil change they had and did the alignment they had not check the turbo clip I don't think they did a damn thing to it but I'm sure they're going to charge Chevrolet for the service fees for the warranty coverage and I believe they need to be blacklisted from any dealership dealings with the name of Chevrolet they are not representing Chevrolet in any shape form or fashion correctly and if they continue on this path I imagine they may cross the wrong one perhaps the karma will be on the news and I will get to watch i then took my car to Mountain View Chevrolet on 20th st in Chattanooga the visual inspection from the mechanics at Walter Jackson Chevrolet was incorrect the alignment was out and that was where the vibration in the front right wheel was coming from the turbo clip was fine in place from the recall. If you want to take your car in to them for service and them not doing anything to your vehicle and charge u go for it they will sell u one faster...in trying to keep MY money local and in MY local economy and theM AS neighbors screwING PPL like this it kind of makes you wonder how long they'll be there hope this finds you in time before they get you. An unexpected breakdown on a 500+ mile road trip turned into the BEST customer service experience. Headed North for a wedding, our tire unexpectedly burst just before the Ringgold exit and we coasted on a rim and a prayer into Walter Jackson Chevrolet. The service manager, Marty, explained that he didn't have a tire in stock that would fit the bill, but he promptly hopped on the phone to North Georgia Tire to find me one. In the mean time, a kind, dog-loving sales person - Todd Ingle - took pity on my family, including my son and my dog, waiting outside in the 90 degree Georgia sun and invited them into the showroom to cool off while we sorted things out. A dog! In the showroom! The team at Walter Jackson went out of their way, driving me and my flat tire all the way to North Georgia Tire to find a suitable used tire, then back to the dealership. The service department installed the tire I bought at North Georgia, and sent us on our journey with best wishes and refusal to take payment, tips, or anything at all but a thank you. This team of folks truly made a difference in our lives, and we could not be more grateful. Our next car purchase will come from them (even though we live nowhere near there), and yours should too. Single woman on the road with 4 girls who had a window stuck in the down position, headed into what looked like a good thunderstorm. We stopped at a gas station and noticed Walter Jackson across the road. I pulled in and realized the service area was closed so I walked up to the other door and it was locked, but people came and opened it right away. Three gentlemen came out and assessed the situation and figured out it was a fuse. Its was reading at 101 degrees outside at this point and all three took the time to look thru my book to figure out where the fuse was and changed it for me. I know they were off the clock and had no reason to stand in the heat and help me when they could have been home in air conditioning enjoying family and food. I cannot tell how much I appreciate what they did for me so I could worry a bit less....its not like it was a life or death issue with the car it was only a window. I have nothing but praise for Walter Jackson Chevrolet. I was looking to purchase a Chevy Captiva and had done a lot of research on the car before I started shopping. I visited this dealership, knowing no one who worked there. The salesman, Justin, answered all my questions truthfully (and I had not gotten that from dealerships in Chattanooga). He did not try to upsell me into a more expensive car and listened to what I wanted. The price was right and the delivery was quicker than I expected. The service department has been quick to respond to what I need. In the past two years, I have purchased 3 vehicles and have recommended to several others. This is the only place I'll go when I want to purchase a car - either new or used. read more

Do not use service department. Took truck in for inspection. Let them have an open ticket and was not concerned about the cost. They said the front brakes needed to be changed. They changed them with rotors and elected to not rebuild or change the brake calipers. Picked the truck up and drove it about 20 miles. Front started shaking when breaks applied. Took to a local tire shop that showed me both brake calipers should have been rebuild. Heat from one locking up warped the rotor and had to redo the entire job. Just under 1K wasted. I called and they would not help any at all. Will not ever do business there again. I hope this helps someone in their future decision about this place. read more

I was traveling to Florida from Indiana and my low tire pressure light went in near Lenore Tennessee. We stopped for the night and stayed across the street from Walter Jackson Cheverlot. I woke to a flat tire. We walked across the street to see if someone could help. Johnny filled my tire and we got the car across the street to the shop. They worked on my tire and patched it for me. It got me and my granddaughter, and my friend safely to Florida and back to Indiana.
