I got there at 9:00 the first morning, which is time it says they open, only to told all the seconds had already been bought. So, try again. Got there at 8:50 and they were open with one customer again buying ALL the peach seconds. I told the lady working that I thought they should set a limit on how many of them one person can buy at one time. The one customer ahead of me had to have bought two bushels of seconds. That's not fair to other customers.

There was a lot of flies at the truck with Santa in it which everyone wanted to take photos in so that was a bit gross but short of that it was a very enjoyable experience. My two year old went on their little train ride which was hilarious since she wasn't expecting that and I'm not sure I was either lol. She came back white knuckled and happy so it was fine. Lots of smoke from the fire pit made it hard to really smell any of the trees. It does add a nice touch to the place though and keeps folks warm which is a plus on these cooler December days. Prices on trees were quite fair (they are precut only this and possibly next year for many they have but still worth purchasing) and the one we got was perfect though they didn't trim the bottom as I asked them to do so we had to do that at home which was not anticipated but we got it done. I look forward to coming here next year. I usually go to Calloways and I wanted to find a local smaller, less commercial place to get my trees from and this one fits the bill. Next time I will be asking that they secure our tree since 380 is a nightmare when it's not gridlock traffic and you're trying to go 50mph down a windy road lol.

The farm is spread out in a way that we never felt crowded or overwhelmed. Loved that they had plenty of restrooms available with handwashing stations! I expected porta potties and was pleasantly surprised to have real bathrooms! If you have a family with younger children, this place has a LOT to do. There are swings, playgrounds, jumping pad, you can feed animals, tricycle ride/race, hay ride, train ride, Ferris wheel, flower picking, pumpkin choosing, and much more. While it was a warm day, there is plenty of spaces to stand in the shade and fans to gain relief from. For older kids - like my teen boys, there wasn't that much to do however, they enjoyed the paintball guns and the apple shooters. We also rode the little train ride. Con's: It's expensive! Everything is expensive. Entry is expensive. Picking 7 flowers and 3 sunflowers was $25. For 3 tiny tacos, $15. Train ride was $6 per person and $3 for your dog. I was disappointed in the "petting zoo." You could buy feed but it was hard to feed the very limited animals and was only goats and one donkey. The donkey was hilarious and moping around like Eeyore. There were some free things to do so you could still enjoy the farm without spending too much. With all that said, cost brought down a star BUT having the day to spend with my husband and 2 teen boys is truly priceless. I went in knowing it would be higher priced and also thankful for the time with my boys so we had a wonderful time. It'll be what you make it! Just be prepared for cost and you'll enjoy it. We are hoping to make a return visit for Christmas!

But this was a fun day we drove to Boyd because my wife loves…read morestrawberries I saw this place in my FB feed so glad we came out, the bucket cost 5 bucks and the strawberries are 7 bucks per pound, we picked 2.5 pounds there were plenty to pick, the staff setup in the blue tent was pleasant and explained the ground rules the produce stand is just across the street a block before the fields grabbed some fresh veggies while there. It's always fun to get fresh veggies and produce would be great adventure for the little ones also. The strawberries are delicious, they post regularly on FB should this would be how to locate them if interested.

This farm is small but perfect for toddlers. We especially love the petting zoo, pony rides, and the bounce pad. This year we brought a cooler and had a picnic in the shade which was perfect! But I had a nice time just walking around, looking at the trees. There were a few raspberries to be picked, but you have to really look. I was also told there were blueberries and tomatoes but they weren't evident to me. It's a nice place. The folks were very welcoming.Theres a little area to the side where you can sit in the shade. You're just in the open field and that's it. There's also some plastic cups that they give you to put your flowers and you can pick/cut your own flowers. 12 or $10. Just a caution if you are not sure footed be careful because it's a little unsteady as you're walking from one area to the next. Wear long pants because as you go through the bushes looking for raspberries, it can get a little scratchy around the ankles. And since it's outdoors, it's extremely hot so make sure you wear a hat, sunscreen, and everything else to be comfortable in this type of weather. I would not recommend bringing any pets because the area is not wide open as you're looking at the roses on the above ground beds or looking for the fruits in the bushes. But I do recommend this place during the high season. Easy to locate. Off the main road and there it is. I would recommend calling before going out there. But yeah I'm glad I went and people were coming in looking for peaches.
