Let me be the first to reality check this ridiculous place. The parents should be aware that not…read moreonly is it soon to be sold, but the turnover that "all daycares experience" and "training new teachers" seems to happen nearly on a monthly basis here. I won't name names (the owners know who they are), It's like any other failing company: It begins from the top down. Take a good hard look beyond the facade and a couple positive reviews on this platform. Do you really trust three or four reviews in several years for your child anyway? You may like what you see on the surface but likely because there is a significant lack of decent programs in this area. Older children may not be as affected but the 1-3 age group is undeniably neglected. The "owner" who seems to carry this flag in some altruistic manner is not only rude, but a complete flop. Never present in almost a year we have only met upper management twice. If there was ever an issue to discuss, good luck addressing it. Yes. These facilities are for sale and probably will be sold to a different management group for the same reason they couldn't keep staff there. We quickly began to feel uncomfortable leaving our child here. I care VERY little of a company's "difficulties", especially if it is to keep staff employed. Staffing isn't staffing when it comes to the well being of your child. To them this means employees. To you this means leaving your child with a stranger. If this is in the 1-3 age group who can't speak for themselves I take this very seriously. A stranger to you, and a stranger to your child. This happened all too often. Most of the permanent teachers are decent, who just so happened to call in sick more often than not. Likely because of a lack of resources and poor management. Personally, I don't give a ---- about excuses, Especially when it comes to my children. At this age group, when I leave my child in the care of someone else, I expect them to be taken care of by the same people each and every day, or at least individuals they know so that they (and we) feel safe and comfortable. This is why we're no longer there. It is your child that stays here, not you. We experienced teachers (subs) who not only left us feeling uncomfortable, but were downright reportable. Never under any circumstances should a day care operate in the manner that they have. Particularly worse than that, the management staff (if you can find them) is not capable of managing this. If any staff remains by the time they finish treating everyone like garbage, your child won't see yet another stranger. As a customer you are a number and god willing you will get help that you may seek with the buyout. Good luck to them in the future, though I don't really mean that. If good intentions are what they seek, they wouldn't have neglected their business, especially a business where the well being of our sons and daughters are at stake. A very holier than thou attitude by management and a reason most staff is jumping ship. Customer beware.

It is so hard to leave your baby all day while you head to work, but the teachers in the infant room are so loving to all the babies that it has made it much easier on me. He smiles when he hears them and the other babies and it makes me so happy to know that he is somewhere safe and well cared for all day. They are usually at capacity though, so if you are interested in this daycare, you better get on the list as soon as you find out your pregnant. You won't regret it though. I seriously cannot say enough about how wonderful they are.

I am surprise nobody from Comal ISD had reach out to me and ask me how is me and my son doing after i decided to withdraw him from this specific school with this specific teacher due to discrimination. My son is half filipino and half black American and as a mother i already knew something is up with his kindergarten teacher here at Morningside Elementary School. Not only she told me my son has to go to a behavioral class and he's so behind from his classmates etc etc he fights other kids he hits them etc etc. So after three weeks of putting up with Mrs Johnson negative notes in my sons notebook everyday for 3-4weeks i decided to withdraw him. 5 months later my 5 year old son is now at a Charter School, Have received the most number of awards such as perfect attendance, demonstrate respectfulness, star reader and a problem solver. And his new teacher always have positive things to say and would work with me and all parents to make sure our kids at my son's new charter school have the best experience in class. So i have always wonder with all the schools my son went to this is the only school that i certainly will say have Demonstrated, Illustrated and Definitely Showed me and my family "how to be discriminated in a public school as a young black and filipino kid". As a prior military who have served the United States Navy for 10 plus years, I do not condone or appreciate this type of institution specially not only i wouldn't get address correctly, it only shows that they do not care about this type of situation. They did try to have me setup a schedule and speak to their school principal once and mind you instead of her showing up to our meeting she send their school counselor because she's too busy doing other things. Which that meeting didn't go end well anyways. As they mentioned over and over is how my son is a bad kid and they don't know what to do with him except send him to a behavioral class. He hits other kids, he doesn't listen, etc etc. he's the only one who does this in my class. Wow this is the only school i must say bring back that PTSD i felt when i was on deployment. You know that feeling they're out to get you, yeah i felt that here. I felt like they were out to get my biracial kid for whatever reason they may have. It would've been a different scenario if my son didn't excel in other schools but like i said this school is the o my school i had this much problem and i'm surprise that the Comal ISD haven't reached out to me and my family and apologize for that teachers unfair treatment, to
