You used to be able to buy all kinds of neat things and all of sudden they stopped getting those things in that made me want to shop there..why?? Now I rate my Dollar General in Sweeny 4 stars because of their wonderful employees! I rate West Columbia 0 stars because of their rude employees. I went to that store because I was in that area...I usually go to the one in Sweeny...I walk in..no hello..no nothin..2 of the girls were talking together and I knew it wasn't business talk..I bought something for my son for Christmas that turned out to be a scam...this thing did not do what it said it would...of course he opened it...went to return it to this store...no hello...when the worker came to me and I told her it was no good...she said she could only replace it with another one because I opened it..I said I did not want another one and asked if I could at least shop there and get my money back that way..flat out no..so guess what lazy worker over there?? I returned it to my own Sweeny Dollar General ...no problem...I could either have my money back or shop! I shopped...I got my hello and the smile and she couldn't do enough to help me...that just told me the worker in West Columbia just did not want to do it...It is what is called...I need a job...boo hoo...but I am too lazy to work! Stay on that side long enough and you're guaranteed to get a headache and be dehydrated. Don't get me started on the hole in the ceiling going towards Dillards if you want improvement in your mall then things should change. Idk but in any business I've worked at , if the a/c went out that was priority and not left on the back burner cause that'll end up being a liability and your warping floors in the food court that the heat has also caused that I've seen a few people trip on. I feel bad for anyone who has to work or walk/wait on the hotter side of the mall. Be better management and do something about that ac because it's ridiculous.
