I love Buc-ee's but this was the worst experience at one. The store is smaller than a normal Buc-ees which was fine, but the staff was rude and judge mental. I was just trying to grab some beer but they said I looked drunk. Both of the employees. Now in their defense I have had a long day. I've been up since the early morning handling some family issues with my dad being in the hospital. Could be an honest mistake, but they made me feel really uncomfortable and looked down upon. So this is NOTHING like what we've come.e to expect from Buc-ees. I just hope and pray that this isn't anyone's first experience with Buc-ees; AKA the happiest place on Earth! There isn't any food; nik-naks; awesome BBQ; world's largest selection of jerky (all kinds); homade fudge; HOT candied pecans-almonds-peanuts; stuffed meats; protien packs; old fashioned candy (OMG chico stick... seriously)! I hope you get the picture. Going to Buc-ees is a life altering experience...once you go your standard for "convenience stores" is forever altered. I just hope these poor folks don't think this is the Buc-ees experience. I shutter to think of the way the Buc-ees name is uttered in the same sentence as Shell or Valero. Hopefully this store will receive some much needed upgrades, so folks can experience the "eat off the floor" clean restrooms; the cheerful "Welcome to Buc-ees" greeting upon entering; the wonderful selection of stuffed meats and cheeses; and sugar plums; and things that you think are a fairy-tales until you see them in Buc-ees! I'm currently searching the destinations in my GPS for a"real" Buc-ees as we speak, so I can erase the memory of this visit to the "un-Buc-ees"! Love this buccees. I go here all the time. They have great costumer service and I have never had a bad experience at any of there locations.
