The office staff is very helpful and friendly here. The prices they charge here seem fair without insurance. I had to go in for a few follow ups to adjust my contact prescription and I wasn't charged extra. I interacted with both Dr. Rubio and Dr. Mendiola and both were fantastic and very helpful with trying to find the right contacts and prescription for me. I would definitely come back here for my yearly check ups and I highly recommend both optometrists here!

She truly cares about her patients and remembers details. Sometimes walking in, it just feels like family. The office is clean and always decorated for the seasonal holidays. I will trust her and her staff with my families optometrist needs and no others for as long they are in business and available. I said I am only 6 mins late and her response was "no, 7". Then she walked back to talk to the doc and told me to have a seat. I waited for another 7 minutes and then she said "the doctor will need to reschedule with you because he's running behind". Whose fault is that?? Not mine. I refused to reschedule. The optometrist clearly doesn't care about their client's time which they wasted twice today. But they sure cared about their own time. What kind of business are they running? I would run to another optometrist office, friends, because if you come here they will likely waste your time and never see you.

In fact, everyone I encountered in both the doctor office and optical store were so patient with me. They never made me feel unworthy for having an invisible disability and did their best to accommodate me. I got detailed receipts too which was unheard of because I always get vague reciepts that my health insurance will demand more detail receipts in order to use the flex pay benefit. I'm bringing my entire family back here! My only regret is that I didn't start coming here earlier.

She did a quick paper test to check and even had my pupils dilated and said everything was fine but I felt like she wasn't thorough enough about my concerns. I recently went to a new doctor with the same concern had multiple tests ran and was told this issue should have been detected had my previous Dr. had been more thorough with testing. Josh, the guy who helps you pick frames is completely unprofessional and had to get the last word with everything I said. He also continued to correct me on my complaints to turn it to my issue, not the glasses that were blurry As the conversation continued he kept telling me how gracious he is and that HE would allow my glasses to be remade, when it is the company policy. But if HE ordered my glasses remade to the corrected prescription any adjustments would be out of my pocket. I asked Josh to speak to his manager, who is not working the day I am in. Then I asked what time the doctor would be in for me to speak to her about my prescription and Josh's unprofessional behavior, he proceeded to tell me that he did not know when the doctor would be in and give some long ridiculous reason. He then tried to convince me to come back tomorrow to speak with the doctor, which as it turns out is the day he is off. At the beginning of my last appointment I informed the doctor of the issues with my previous prescription, where every-time my prescription is set 1 click off and have to be remade. I made sure to go over the issues to ensure this didn't happen again, but it ended up happening anyway.
