He pointed out the family pack and said it's right there (across from butcher counter) I went to look and it was family packs. I said that is not what I'm looking for. He said just split it up. I said I can't I'm trying to fulfill an order the customer ordered 3- 1lb packages. He walked back through the butcher doors and a guy named Evan helped me and he walked back and got the meat I was looking for, no thanks to Jason. I was very pleased with how kind Evan was but Jason should be ashamed because the store loses money when products aren't supplied and the customers get angry. Very next day did a customer order a meat again not on the shelf so I pressed the bell, got Jason again.... Asked about if they had any he said it's not ready... wouldn't have taken long at all to get. Let the customer know he said they didn't have it ready (hard to believe him when the day before Evan walked out with an entire bag full of meat) the customer was mad and had me put back 15 of his 40 items that required that meat... not cheap items either. Again, meijer lost money because of the lack of customer service and the customer didn't get his products either.

It is however sad that it took a trip to walmart, several contacts with corporate walmart, a negative Yelp and Google review and a registered complaint with the Better Business Bureau to get a refund. It was truly never opened and we did not take it out of our car except to return it. We will continue to shop at this walmart now. Their Great Value products are just that - A Great Value! Purchased a personal hygiene item (a commode) some time around February 21. I was told I could return it if it was not opened. Brought it out to the car and put it in. Ended up not needing it. Never took it out of the car until I brought it back in to walmart to return it. They refused to take it back. Spoke with someone at the return desk, spoke with a manager and a walmart coach and they all said no to the return. I contacted walmart corporate to complain. They told me store managers decide on returns and that they would file a ticket and I should get a call within three days. It has been 4 or 5 days, no call yet. Went into walmart today and checked if they had the commode for sale - they did. The item was in its shelf spot - backwards. I took it out and low and behold the seal on it was broken. Have been in contact with corporate and have emailed Thomas Twigg a coach at the store after the photos were taken - still no word. See the attached photos and SHOP AT MEIJER. I would give this place zero stars if I could. There customer service sucks, there is not one…read morehelpful person in that store. Their self check-out system is crap, you can't scan your bottle slips and they just tell you to go use one of the check-out lanes. This creates another problem, there is usually one two or three lanes open and they are backed way up. When going to customer service to offer suggestions, the rep told me, "maybe I can bring it up to a manager". That tells me it'll go nowhere.

Very friendly and accommodating, if you need something sliced. -Self checkout moves rather quickly. Cons: -Out of many items. -Prices are now more expensive than Walmart on all but sale items. -Too many sale items require quantity purchase to get the sale price.

If this hadn't been a steady decay over the years i wouldn't be so harsh, as it is, they don't have the employees to make a pleasurable trip, only frustrations and wasted time. Understaffed and incompetent. Thanks for shedding some positive vibes on Walmart, they would have to mess up pretty bad to have me ever set foot in a Target again. But they have 3 employees collecting pay for nothing other than pointing people into the right queue for checkouts. I walked right past them. No way am I going to stand at self-check long enough to wait for the scanner to reset between items while I ring up 24 identical barcodes. The woman follows me into the queue, staring into my cart. "You could use the self-checks with fewer customers waiting." "You could open a register and use the quantity button and I'd be out of your way," I told her. Of course, she went back to staring at others who have the audacity to think someone paid by the store should scan and bag their items. I get my receipt and head to the door. 2 gatekeeers BOTH SITTING DOWN, neither is particularly close to the door. Neither has a cast, walker, cane... they are just sitting. So as I flip my receipt showing I checked out with a human and paid, to the one closer to the door, she says something about needing to see but I was already out the door because my hands/arms were full and it was clear neither of them felt the need to get off their seats. I would love to say this is a fluke. The truth is, this location has never been a good experience, since they first built it. The remodeling seems to be with the goal "we can make it even worse" and there are zero employees who care about the company. I usually go to Meijer, but, I got my annual dose of the Ludington WalMart and expect that will be enough for a long time.

She was looking at me in the eyes as I started to ask the question her co-worker came back in from outside, she ignored me whipped around and said "You went outside!! What were you doing out there?" He went on to explain he was checking the stock of something outside of the front door. Then she continued talking to him and ignoring me.
