This Walmart is so convenient because I live in a town near Wasco and this is a quick drive for me instead of going all the way to Bakersfield. Th is Superstore is clean and well stocked. I have had friendly helpful service when needed. They have a huge parking lot and are conserving by having a solar array over part of the parking lot. This is helpful on very hot days here in the valley. read more

Received a Walmart gift card for my birthday last month and decided to head in today when I was in Wasco. This Walmart was great. The parking lot is a good size and the store was very well kept inside. The store was clean and everything is easy to see where things are. I grabbed a few things and headed to the register to pay. I saw they had plenty of self checkout registers which was awesome because I only had two items. I used my gift card and was out the door. This store was very convenient to have in a small town like Wasco. Will definitely be back. read more

Management is a little hands-off and not in a good way. The staff were not rude, but they also weren't very helpful. I did self-checkout, and it took the employee guarding the area what seemed to me like 10 minutes before telling me to cancel at the register since the machine was asking for my PIN, yet the keypad wasn't working. So, by presenting canceled, it processed my transaction as a credit card and not a debit card. No big deal. I would have eventually figured it out, but my anxiety kicked in when people started to look at me confused. Lol, my bad. read more

So heading out to spend days in the Desert I had forgotten an essential item. Fortunately I spotted this store transiting from I-5 to 99 and poked right in. These stores are smaller than regular SprawlMarts but it was well stocked and organized. I was able to find what I needed fast thanks to a helpful staff member who took me personally to the spot. In and out and back on the road with a minimum fuss made for a nice experience read more

You have about 13 registers and currently right now, you only have 3 registers operating. We have been in line for 20 minutes. Your express self checkout is extremely busy with long lines. While waiting, there was a big brown German shepherd dog. You have a pregnant employee that noticed it and did nothing. A groups of kids were asking if we wanted the dog! It's obvious, the dog was not a service dog. I did not post pictures because I wanted to respect the people around me. read more

Attention Walmart Management, I would like to share with you my experience with Sahari last night at your location. Me and my adjoining party went to your self checkout line with 2 separate transactions, as protocol is 15 items per transaction. We were confronted by Sahari, when trying to explain to her we had 2 seperate transactions of about 10 items each and we were sharing a basket, she said they had a very long line and it was only 15 items per person. Which is exactly what we were doing. The lines were long and you guys were very busy, it was Valentines Eve. Sahari pulled out her cell phone and began taking photos of me and my children and my adjoining party then walked away to shut off our checkout station! Unbelievably unprofessional and childish. And if the lines were so long, and your staff member Sahari was so concerned about that, why would she further delay the waiting customers in line checkout time by shutting down our checkout station and then walking away from self checkout, leaving the issue to be dealt with by another employee. I highly recommend training Sahari better in communication, customer service, and just basic common sense and common courtesy. And taking photos of customers and their minor children while on the clock at Walmart to use those photos for who knows what is also unacceptable and unprofessional. Please train your employees better. There is no place for childish petty behavior when working customer service. I have also sent a letter to your corporate office as well as Human Resources. If you specifically want 2 people shopping together that have 2 separate transactions to have 2 separate baskets then it's your duty as a corporation to have that posted in clear view, in writing, to make customers aware of your corporate policy. It wasn't posted anywhere in writing, therefore it's a policy that doesn't exist to your customers. On a side note, Megan was left to deal with the situation after Sahari childishly shut down our checkout terminal and took photos of me and my children, then walked away from the self checkout area. Megan handled it professionally and respectfully with kindness and maturity. Thank you Megan for not treating us the way Sahari did. I appreciate your professionalism and customer service. read more

after start give a safe way for customers to receive orders is getting better and the drivers are amazing great effort

I'm more of a Target shopper, but while temporarily living near Wasco.... Walmart is my only option for miles and miles. The prices are higher than other suburban Walmarts. I understand supply and demand, but my weekly bill for groceries for my husband and I is around $100 when it's around $80 at other grocery stores. The employees are always busy stocking shelves and unloading boxes, but rarely make eye contact or check in to see if you need assistance or heck, even a smile. Don't get me started on the check outs- there are normally 2 registers open and this causes a big backup. I also find it strange that at on separate visits: *the entire deli meat section was empty. * there was one bag of brown sugar on the shelf. * there were NO red onions. * there were no lemons. I do give credit for the store starting to carry more organic, vegan, and gluten free options. I'll continue to come here because I have no other choice until we move closer to civilization. read more

If I could give no stars I would!! My sister and niece just left and the very unprofessional white lady working at the makeup section was very rude, she went up to my sister claiming she was opening makeup which were the testers they had she went on to tell my sister that she saw her attitude right when she walked in and was threatening her that she was going to have security escort them out. My sister then went to the manager to let them know what happened! I really hope they fix this problem Employees are all rude I hate going here myself Very disappointing read more

Management needs to get their act together. The liquor is locked up and no one comes when paged. If you're going to buy alcohol in Wasco, Rite Aid is on the same street and it's cheaper and faster. read more

I wish our wasco Walmart had a bigger selection. They're usually out of a lot of things. Either way I shop here all the time. Whether it is online or in store. The Walmart+ is so convenient for us moms that don't want go to the store for a quick run with all our kiddos. I'm rating this store 2 stars because most of the employees are sooo rude. I think they need a house cleaning and they should hire new faces that have good customer service! read more

It's an ok Walmart , its near by so I will come here if needing an item or two. It's a Hit Or miss with the selection of things they carry. Seems to be lack of management Went one day and they almost had nothing on their food shelves/ produce department ! I don't think I've ever seen That at any other Walmart location The beauty isle is a mess. Products open everywhere and smeared everywhere , plus they don't have much of a selection of anything. The baby isle does t have much selection either, went to purchase some baby Tylenol and I kid you not all of the medicine package that they carry (of different brands as well) were either damaged ,opened , or not stocked. I had to dig to find a non open package . Smh ! I believe there needs to be a HUGE step up in the management department. read more

Today my 11-year-old went to go buy some things she needed she was unable to use her card, the girl at the make up register told her that her card didn't work and she couldn't use credit.... Obviously she doesn't know anything about bank cards ..so I went in there to see for myself and guess what the card worked perfectly fine! The girl knew what time it was when she saw me walk in with my daughter because she definitely called her friend for back up.... if you have cameras I hope you view them I went in there at 8:30 pm and I paid at the makeup register ...both of them barely acknowledged us and were so involved in their conversation and looking at their phone that they didn't even take the time to say thank you .... it's obvious the girl was new ; however, It was even more noticeable she didn't care and neither did her coworker.Worst customer service ever. I hope you enjoy reading a review about yourself. "You're welcome! ".... For not posting your name. read more

I have been shopping at this Walmart for about 2 months now. Yea I seen the other reviews and I think these people have other problems in there lives the waiting a few mins for some items. Today I did some shopping while my truck was getting a oil change. I bought all my groceries and right as I was going to check out I got a call over the intercom ( MIKE YOUR TRUCK IS READY). It took them about 25 mins to change my oil and for me to do all my shopping. Im a very satisfy the customer and I will be back again to have a oil change and do my shopping. read more

Never have an express lane open. Went in to buy a pair of pants and 4 alcoholic bottles. Lines were ridiculously long so asked the clerk at self check out if she could ring me up. Rudely she said no this self check out, you have to go over there. I left my shopping cart there and walked out. Rather pay 5 more dollars a bottle at a liquor store than deal with rude workers who don't know who to show customer service. read more

Stop in on our way through to Morro Bay. Best Walmart ever. Super cleAn, friendly staff, and all shelves stocked. Fruit and veggies were full. I am from the IE and live within 4 miles of three Walmart's and none are ever this clean and stocked! Kudos to management!!! Well done!! read more

I was shopping here the other day and encountered the worst customer service I have ever seen. This store should be ashamed that it allows its employees to treat others with such disrespect. The cashiers name was Stephanie and I witnessed her be callous and to be frank, ghetto, with a young mother who was trying to pay. I'd rather drive a town over then give my patronage to this Walmart. read more

This review is in regard to the pharmacy inside the market. I will never again fill a prescription here. They were very careless when my husband went to pick up my prescription. My husband asked the pharm tech, "These are her antibiotics and mouthwash, correct?"...They instead gave him fluoxetine instead of antibiotics. My doctor had ordered me anitbiotics that morning. Fluoxetine was technically my prescription but was not going to pick it up because I stopped taking it a few weeks ago and I guess the antibiotic hadn't been fulfilled yet. Regardless, it is negligent/careless to confirm a prescription when that's not the actual case! That is very dangerous to verify a prescription that is not what it actually is! I am switching to El Tejon on North Chester (a minute away from this Walmart). They have good reviews, it looks like! I will also be filing a formal complaint against this pharmacy. read more

OK. Let's see how many other people can figure out basic first grade math. John is walking to the register with 4 individually packaged paper towel rolls. Sally the Walmart associate says sir there might be a limit of two paper towel packs each. John replies, there should not be a limit on these ones. Every pack contains anywhere from 4 to 24 rolls of paper towels. And you're saying anyone can take two of those packs. But I only have four paper towels. Ricardo the second Walmart associate comes up and says, sorry sir there is a limit. You can only purchase two packages of paper towels. John asks,So I can buy 2 24 packs of paper towels? Both Walmart associates say yes. John then asks, so why can I not buy 4 single packs of paper towels. if somebody else can purchase 48 total paper towels maximum, Why is it a problem if I come to purchase 4. For this math question please write down the difference between amount of paper towels John is not buying compared to other customers, followed by explanation as to why John is in the wrong, or whether or not the Walmart associates are morons. (. Later). I had to come back and add more to this. Because I realized as I'm driving home about to take a massive crap after purchasing just a few rolls of toilet paper being the primary on my shopping list. That those complete idiot scraped all my toilet paper rolls off the conveyor belt thinking they were paper towels worried about me having more than two paper towel rolls. I have to take a massive crap right now and I am currently driving home almost there without any toilet paper because they were more worried about me having 4 paper towel rolls when everybody else is taking home 24. To the point where I was not even allowed to have toilet paper even though I had two packs of four sitting there. I swear they only find the lowest of morons to put at the store. In fact they don't even stock things for months and it was like that way before the "virus" read more

Not sure why Yelp has this Walmart classified under Neighborhood Market. It's a lot bigger than a market that's for sure! Let me start by saying that I've never really been a huge fan of going to shop at a Walmart. Maybe because the one close to me is the horrible Rosedale location. Well Yelpers, this Walmart is different than the norm. A breath of fresh air for the non-Walmart shopper. I came across this Walmart because I was working in the area. The staff are super friendly and fairly knowledgeable. One of the big positives about this place is that they always have what I'm looking for in stock, and ready to be purchased. Another one of the positives is that this Walmart is super clean. Maybe it's because it's one of the newer Walmarts? Not sure but they keep it clean. The only negative I can really say about this place is that the cash registers can get a bit congested from time to time when self check out is not an option. If your in the area or want to visit a clean, not crazy busy Walmart, check this location out Yelpers. read more

It's an I'm place greeters are polite and cashiers are talkitive. Clean update of previous review

I accidentally scanned something twice in the self check out and the machine said wait for customer service. The lady was just standing there looking around so my brother tells me to go and ask her. I walk up and say, "excuse me can you come clear this, please?" The lady did not even look at me. She walked around the counter and went to some other customer who may have needed help but they weren't right infront of her asking for it. Horrible customer service read more

I only stopped to pick up a money transfer but was impressed by the condition of the store, it was new, clean and everyone was friendly.

The store isn't like those in a big town it doesnt carry everyyhing the. Ormal walmart carries and seriously the cashier didn't know how to void and get his register working in the auto center. So now I have to wait FOREVER... so glad I don't live in the town because it's not worth me waiting for over 10 minutes for someone to help this cashier out! read more

I came here to buy a NES Classic Console for my son as a Christmas present. Its the only thing in the whole wide world that he wants, he dreams in pixels and dressed as Mario for Halloween. Well anyways, I came here because they had a good stock, and to my surprise an employee had bought the whole stock of consoles! Went to Wal-Mart today, I bought groceries shelves are scarce which is typical for this Wal-Mart, I wanted to buy a couple of fish for my tank, I left my husband and daughter by the fish at the back of the store while, my son and I went on an employee hunt, we made it all the way to the front without finding a single employee. I asked the Cashier to call for assistance, she stated she will have someone back there soon. I walked to the back of the store and reached the fish tanks when I heard the announcement for help. I thought okay we'll have someone here within 5 minutes at most. maybe 7/8 minutes passed an employee passed by, I said hi can you help me she looked at me stated no, I can find someone for you, she didn't even slow down to figure out what I needed help with. we gave up at this point.
