This store is convenient to the major interstate in the area and also hotels, etc. Is a large all-purpose department store with discounted prices for HomeGoods, clothing, pharmaceuticals, groceries, every day, items, etc. It's part of the broader chain well-known across the US and other places. I've come today because I needed to purchase some long underwear because I traveled without them and it dropped into the 20°F range! Not to mention the windchill factor is lesser than that! I wish I could rate this less than one star. Walmart has seen my last dollar. I'll never shop there again! Purchased over $300 in groceries yesterday at the Wadsworth Ohio walmart and while leaving the store the employee accused us of stealing a gallon of milk, because it wasn't bagged. we went through the cashier, NOT self-checkout. every item was scanned and paid for. who the heck bags their milk jugs? the employee then lies and says it's on camera of us stealing said milk, and calls for police backup, when we tell her she's full of Sh*t. being extremely rude while holding us hostage on out already purchased items, and searching a full cart for unbagged items. juice, milk, etc. lying the whole time. I'm sure this is the current Gestapo era walmart we now live in, show me your papers!! while wasting police time with nosense. the store and Corporate don't give a hoot about the illegal detention and search of customers and digging through their cart of already paid for items. NO More for you walmart, plenty of other places for my family to buy our groceries, that won't assault us by overzealous employees for unbagged items! keep your bags and retrain your rude employee. plus you have closed so many checkout lanes, the lines are always long , while half the self-check stations and most of the checkout lanes are closed. read more

Angie in the bakery department is very unprofessional. She does not deal with customers well. She was the one that I was told to speak with and she was nothing but disrespectful and acted like I was bothering her. Although it's only 10 minutes from my house I believe I will deal with another Walmart supercenter before I go back to Wadsworth bakery. I do shop there almost on a daily basis, but will avoid that area. read more

I've been shopping at this Walmart for five years now and it is still my primary grocery and goods store. There is no customer service to speak of, but we've come to expect that in retail these days. The store is usually clean and well stocked. But there are days and weeks when they may not have any pasta or french fries or chicken. It's just odd. When I can't obtain the items I need from Walmart, I go to Aldi or the Medina Walmart. They have a lot of self checkout registers, but they also still have a few cashiers ringing. When grocery shopping, I prefer to wait for a cashier. But when I see people with two items in their hands with no shopping cart get in the cashier line, it kind of irks me. I assume they're doing it to show their support for keeping cashiers. This store is about as good as it gets for Walmart. read more

This used to be a great store but over the last year it's completely gone downhill. If you are trying to use curbside pickup you may as well forget it. If they do eventually get your order out to you, you're missing more items than you receive. I've had to wait for an hour plus on 3 different occasions and it's definitely not getting any better. This is a management issue that needs to be addressed. There is clearly not enough people to make curbside usable. Horrible planning on this store's part especially when there is such a need. I don't know if all Walmarts are like this but this store is poorly managed and hard to shop at. None of the products are marked with the price, the price is on the shelf somewhere near the product...written in microscopic print.....along with a dozen other price markers. All it takes is for one person to pick something up, look at it, and place it back a few inches from where it is "supposed" to be and you have no way of knowing the price. Only Walmart would manage a store this way making employees have to handle every product that has been touched every day to get it back to where it "should" be and make every customer have to take it to a price check machine. It's a Walmart so nothing really fancy. The staff is usually not very helpful in most locations. I haven't had any problems with the customer service location. I've asked for help on finding a product before and some members take me to it and some just point in a direction. Although this is not a very old store it has looked run down since it was built. The recent refresh on the marketing image helped, but it is still a depressing warehouse type store. My biggest complaint is the lack of product. I know they stock the shelves periodically, but the products I want to buy are either out of stock or limited selections too frequently. read more

That always have what I need. I try to avoid it in favor of Drug Mart which is an Ohio based store. Very pleased with the lady in produce today to walk me to the location of the item. WADSWORTH WALMART = TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT!!! Terrible service, (if you even call it that) A store manager was alking across an isle not even looking and ran stright into my cart. I had my 1 year old daughter in the cart too. I was watching where I was going, and walking slow. He all of a sudden came around the corner and ran into me, gave me a glare and just kept walking. Another thing that happened is that I was shopping with my daughter and wife, and we also picked up a bottle of wine. My wife forgot her ID but NEVER TOUCHED the bottle and didnt pay, I paid. They rudly right from the start said "Yeah I need both IDS now before we go any further." We explained that she didnt have hers, and she never touched the wine either. Immediately they said, well "she is a minor and we wont sell this to you"... keep in mind my wife is 25 years old and to also make a statement like that it is CRAZY.. So I just bought the rest of my items and we went out to the car and left, I dropped her off at the house and came back by myself and went to buy that bottle of wine again. Three managers came running over yelling (infront of everyone embarrassing me) "you cant buy that sir, you are trying to buy for a minor) I was outraged, and asked for the highest manager in the store. He came up and said "sorry but you were spotted in here with a minor (my wife? 25 years old??) (my 1 year old daughter??) and we cant sell you any age restricted items. I asked when can I buy wine then, he refused to answer directly but said "sometime otehr than now" .... This place is a nightmare for customer service.. I understand the law very clearly about alcohol purchases.. and I know walmarts policy.. If my wife would have so much as touched the wine or paid for it... I would agree that she would have to have her ID but she never touched it or paid for it. .. (I later called to verify the policy and the Coorporate Policy is that if the other party is not touching, paying or anyother way part of that alcohol transaction they are not to be carded... this came directly from a Customer Care manager from coorporate.) read more

Our Wal-Mart is great! Although I am very upset. I went to Wal-Mart on 4-22-19 and I was looking in the cosmetics area, looking for a makeup primer, I looked in the NXY section of the cosmetics and saw a primer (MY pore filling primer) that was $4.98 I was suprised because primers from NXY are little more, I looked at the tag and under that to make sure it was that price. I went to the scanner and it came up at $14.97. I talked to the lady that was up there and she scanned in on her phone and it said $14.97. I was upset because it was at a place that had it as $4.98! I should have gotten to buy it for $4.98! If someone else put it there than oops but it was in a spot where it had that same description! This makes me not want to go back to my Wal-Mart and go to another one. That is extremely annoying and should stay on top of things! There were 2 women back there in the cosmetics they should've moved it! I am very annoyed and I hope people see this and understand! read more

Horrible experience at the Walmart in Wadsworth tonight...my husband and I went grocery shopping and my husband decided to also get a 6 pack of beer. At the register, we were told he couldn't get the beer even though he was paying for it, because his pregnant also of age wife (me) didn't have her ID on her. It didn't matter that my husband is 27 years old and paying for himself to have beer for the week. All that mattered is that I was with him and didn't have an ID on me. They told us we had to shop in separate lines from now on if I don't have my ID. Yes that's right the manager told us how to "get around their system". We don't need to get around a system, we are law abiding citizens. Then I asked what if I had my teenage sister with me who I often care fore and they said, I would not be allowed to buy alcohol if my she was with me even if I had my ID. Families cannot even shop together at that place. They then proceded to tell me if i was with someone who looked like they were 60 they would let it slide that I didn't have my ID. Sorry we didn't know that the law was you have to be 21 or older to buy alcohol and everyone you're with at the counter must be that old too with an ID....ARGHHH, wont be shopping there anymore!!! read more
